Teaching English writing at levels C1 and C2

This webinar will look at the Writing paper from C1 Advanced and C2 Proficiency. We will look at the differences between different task types, and offer some suggestions for approaching these task types and scaffolding the writing process. We’ll also look at some of the options online for practising and assessing writing at this level.

You are not using your linking words properly. 'Though and mind you' make your writing writing flow sound bad.
Stop trying to copy what you hear the English guy say, you are trying to sound posh. Be yourself and keep it simple. You need short and clear sentences with one main point. Stay away from gurus

One of the chief problems that students have at c1 and c2 level writing is that they even find hard and struggle to express their ideas and thoughts in their own mother tongue. If many of them (amongst which I'm included) have difficulty to get their opinions across whatever the language, what can we do? That's a chin in the armour, definitely

I have exactly the same problem. I attended both this and the Reading and Use of English C1 and C2 live, but never received the certificate. Also, the handout or the slides have not been shared (they are available for the other webinar). How can we get our certificates? Thanks.

It's interesting that people who sit different exams may get recognition for the same level of English competence. I find this unfair as the difficulty of the exams is different. As stated by Cambridge English, C2 exam is a lot more difficult than C1 exam. If everyone sitting C1 and C2 exams got the same papers, then it would be fair. What do you think?

While there are multi-level tests available, which are useful for quickly establishing what level of English a candidate has, Camrbidge C1 Advanced and Cambridge C2 Proficiency are in-depth assessments of the candidate's abilities at those specific levels.
That's what makes these qualifications valuable as proof of ability to use English in academic and professional environments.
