Nice to see you out riding around my original stomping grounds. I love that Sammy's put up all those old photos, that's pretty cool. I haven't been there yet. Originally, it started out as Heidi's Swiss Village with the restaurant and a Swiss bakery and some other shops. I know that there had been two different trains over the years, and one of my friends used to play accordion there as a little boy. Ashley's came later and was more of a sit down restaurant. All the places that had all the photos that was from the A&W years later. There have been so many businesses that have been there over the years, and sadly, it's just not a place that people stop that much. I hope some day that changes. Bummer about the tire. I've always carried a spare tube and a small pump just because you never know. Take care, Klearski.

Your videos mean so much to me! I miss home so much! I used to ride the train at Ashley's way back in the early 90s. I remember they had a halloween train ride with a witch stewing Bart Simpson in a cauldron!! 😂 It made such a huge impact on me.
My aunt, who's the manager at Wincos bakery, said you came by and gave her one of your Kreeper stickers!! I was so excited she got to meet you after all these years of watching your videos 3,000 miles away! Lol! Thank you again for all that you do!😊

Glad you made it back to Gresham ok. That was a long walk. If that happened to me I'd be in a real mess. My feet would never let me walk that far, especially pushing a bike with a flat. I enjoyed your video.

I am old enough that I remember being at Heidi's a couple of times and seeing the kiddie train; now if I go out that way, I go see the remnants of the kiddie train tracks. I *think* they had a mini golf course there? I could be dreaming about that. A while back I found a 70's postcard of Heidi's Swiss Chalet/Village that pictured it exactly as I recall - lots of seventies colors when I would've been there in the 80's as a Kustody Kid on summer vacation. At one point maybe 10-15 years ago I swear they had two separate pizza places in two separate buildings out there. Great place to visit; sorry I missed this video when it dropped. Glad the tire situation got sorted out!

Oh no now that you tell me you're driving with no hands I have to tell you what I tell people sometimes when I see them drive with no hands that handlebars should be optional
But there was this one time and I couldn't believe it and if it wasn't for the fact that I ride my bike or I used to before the bad knee there were these two guys getting on a Major Street No Hands on the handlebars in the first guy just went in there turned so sharp I could not believe it got in the bike lane or took up a lane and the guy that was driving behind him seeing how crazy thing that he did with that bicycle I think my problem was I couldn't do it I tried to ride without my handlebars but I think I was too heavy I remember being able to ride with no handlebars strangely enough I think I could probably do it if my cargo bike was loaded up the one not the other because that one was unstable

A comment for the youtube algorithm. I had well over 50,000 documented bicycle miles as an adult. My advice is to at least carry an extra tube as well as a patch kit, a fewtools and a pump. You need a "presta" type pump. Thanks for the videos 👍

Played an outdoor gig once on a flatbed trailer in Boring, OR. It was for a motorcycle/car show and we were going into our ballad and a dude on a Harley rolls up in front of the stage (spoiler alert, there was no one in the crowd...NO ONE!) and revs his Harley so loud drowning us out. We didn't take the hint and kept playing the rest of our set.
