Thank you for your humble and sincere explanation of why certain maneuvers will not work with some partners. Most Sifus will not admit or show a partial result.
Haha yes! What kind of life is it to live pretending you're not human ha ha. This demo partner is known to punch me repeatedly in the face when she catches me off guard. 😅
Dear Sir, does it make sense to transform the air around you into water and the water in you into air to make floating effortless? And is the wood element just floating with structure? Thanks, all the best
I am not such a good alchemist ha ha. But if that kind of symbolism helps you to release tension, see beyond conflict with the opponent, and create lightness in and around you, it may be worth exploring! 🙌
My sifu many years ago wanted to show us some (ma) or rooting so he took a painters plank that was 10 ft long x 10"wide x1.5" thick and placed it across his chest he was a small man of about 5ft 4in then he asked all the senior students all bigger than him to push at or on the plank with their palms against the plank about 15 men the big ones 15 stone the small 11 stone all fit regular trained men my Sifu opened his arms and braced the plank from the other side as it was flexing and we all pushed I had a great view and observed his feet only 12 in apart in parallel which I thought odd as we all pushed on him the plank began to flex although he effortlessly stood complaining that we were not putting enough into it and was laughing and mocking us with that the junior class came into the room and another 13 of them charged added to the 15 with a great group push the plank let out a crack and he suddenly said stop . The whole class were puffing and panting while he was examining the plank to see if it was still good for the painters unfazed by it all and just walked off no explanation or anything .I noticed 2 things no matter how great the pressure he was like stone and I mean zero movement and his shoes didn't flex or show any sign or the great pressure going on above and he looked no more stressed than standing in a que absolute effortless . My question is did he way up the groups yin or yang to achieve this . If asked he growls ma he is old old school so thats it as I would rather sit in a tigers cage than cross him.
@@arisonpoYour profound ability to receive and connect. It's actually good to be able to be very Yin, just as it is good to be able to be very Yang, which comes through a capacity to be and express ourselves fully. Think of it like breathing, you want to be able to take a deep breath of air in, Yin. And you also want to be able to breathe all the air out, Yang. You want balanced Yin and Yang so you breathe out what you breathe in, and beyond that, the more fully you can do it, the more completely you use your lungs, the better you will be, is it not? So it's wonderful that your Yin is so accomplished. And as your Yang catches up (more Karaoke!) how will that balance help you, beyond the growth you've seen through Tai Chi already? Good job and keep going because you will get even better. 😃🙌
Really liked how you explained it. Especially when testing, some people are so easily affected but some just not seem affected at all.
Right! And it's good to know that you may still be doing it right either way, is it not? 😃🙏
Nice video! Thanks
Thank you for your comment! 😃🙏

So woman is natural in yin based user?
I mean automatically they r yin?
It's not based on gender. Just this lady is unusually Yin. 😃
@@phoenixmountaintaichiShifu, what qualities make me unusually Yin? 🤔

She could be from the marshes, yes. A marsh-mellow..! Sorry, kid's joke...
OK, but htre must be limits even to your power, if you are not the Almighty, at all! Paul
Good point Paul. I am not even that mighty! I could barely get this partner to sink. 😄🙏
