Being half-Irish but having very little Gaelige, I wonder if anyone could transcribe the lyrics, please? Her voice is so clear that it ought to be an easy task for a Gaeltacht person? I'd then like to follow the Gaelige carefully and translate it. I can pick out a few words like mhaighdean at 0:40 and aigéan at 0:55 and it seems to be repeated verses, each with a few specific words different to the others? (The lyrics aren't found on Google).
Just a thought 💭 Maybe this song is written and sang in a lament form so those words are being repeated. I remember Eithne mentioned this as one of her songs has the same.
This is the voice of Brídín Brennan, the sister of Moya Brennan from the Irish band Clannad and Enya (Eithne Ní Bhraonáin).
i love Enya¨s family
Beautiful and evocative
beautiful love clannad +ian parkers music .

Beautifully haunting
This is so beautiful and just what I needed on a cool, misty morning here in Ohio.
