I’ve got 400+ hours in a 2005 PC-12. Start up is great .. but the shut down is wayyy mo betta !! Whew!!

does the exhaust double as de-icer?
No .. lol the wing edge has a rubber lining and when you engage de-ice the boots are forced full of air which instantly snaps the ice apart ..
