Good memories, the kids helping was sweet… Miya’s little “uh-oh..was adorable she has such cute actions it’s enjoyable to watch her. I had a guy build me a raised garden and found out later it was treated wood & you can’t use treated wood…grrrrr So I got me some cinder blocks and stacked them 2-high…. I’m going to put them under my windows in the backyard (2story up) run a fishing line down to them and grow beans up them. Also used some for kale/ mustard greens because you can plant them when it’s cold. (Greens are good for the eyes) I had a tall plastic kitchen trash can that I had rain water in and the winter it froze the bottom so I used it this year and planted potatoes in it. Always…ALWAYS buy heirloom seeds(no chemicals) and you can save the seeds for next year. I have a mini greenhouse I keep indoors to plant seedlings early as February.
Don't buy store bought dirt, go to missouri organic recycling. There's a location just south of Smithville on cookingham and 169. They sell raised bed soil and can deliver it. Store bought dirt is way too expensive and yall will probably need at least a cubic yard of soil or more for those beds. If yall have a truck it's like $50/ cubic yard for raised bed soil.
You pair are obsessed with each others butts 😂😂😂you work well to gather good job and the girls had a lot of fun. Stephen you sounded live Elvis when you said”go potty baby”😂😂❤️❤️❤️❤️🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Considering you didn’t measure any lengths or use a bevel gauge or square to set your angles, and waited to stain the wood until AFTER it was already half buried, it looks pretty good all things considered!
Hi family, I always show about you all to my nephew who is almost 2 years old, I´m teaching him English, and since he already knows you, I´d like you to make videos teaching the names of the fruits to Miya ( I remember the part when you all went to DEPOT and Miya confused apples with radishes.)
Looks you did a great job building those. Enjoyed the music and sped up action. I loved that you got the girls involved in it! Can't wait to see what you plant, and how they'll help with that, too, and later with harvest.
I don't understand why people in the so-called 'developed Western countries' do everything on their own. I am not criticising anything or anyone here, I just don't understand the culture. In my country a carpenter would be given the job to build any wooden furniture. That way by outsourcing most of the works instead of doing everything on our own, every strata of the society is well nourished because they find jobs to do and find a livelihood thereby to maintain their family. This way the whole society supports each other of their members to survive. No wonder surviving in the 'Western' societies is such a cut-throat competition.
Well, this is not big furniture. Just a small one. The carpenter would have finished in 5-10 minutes. Who would call someone for 10 minutes when they have all the tools and can do on their own??
@@marythomas5640 You might be right but I presented a general presumption about how I see the 'Western' societies functioning. I do not have any first-hand experience of living in the US or Europe but what I see in the movies or the tv series or hear about the first-hand experiences of people who lived there for quite a significant period of time, I just put forward a general observation about the Western societies. I think even if you do not agree completely with me on this, you would at least concur that there is at least some truth to my argument.
@@swarnendu89 ya. I have seen ppl buy all the wood and create a huge hen house all by themselves. Inbetween it was so difficult that they thought of hiring someone. Later, after 1 week, they got it done by themselves. Here in my area, even if the door requires some polishing, we call the specific skilled person
“Uh-oh” ❤
Excellent team work👍 The slapping of the cheeks were my favorite part's 🤣🤣

It’s a few planter boxes. Calm down.
I think it's not that deep. I live in a third world country and I always try to do everything by myself, because it's way cheaper.
