i think one of my favorite things about these two is that they're never insecure about how much the other loves them. like when linda forgot bob's birthday or when bob accidentally kissed gayle. they didn't get upset about it, they just knew that it was an honest mistake

It's such small moment that isn't a big romantic gesture but its so in character for them. I also love how psychically affectionate Bob and Linda are to each other and how often the show doesn't shy away from how they still find each other attractive. They might joke about how they're both getting old, but its never in the way Family Guy makes fun of Lois aging or something. They never make they other one wish they still looked like they did 20 years ago, the love each other they way they are now.

But seeing them acting like this, like they still love each other even after all of these years and through hard times, was such a sweet surprise! I love this show and it’s quickly becoming one of my favorites even though I’m only on season 3.
