Thinking that Milik will be the striker that will bring back goals, if we believe that, we are only dreaming. The due Milik -Vlahovic sucks as it did last season. And unfortunately, it will not change this season. We need a top striker to combine with Vlahovic and we need this urgently, not in the summer but next January. Yes. I'm worried with Dusan but I am also worried with Douglas Luiz. Is it Douglas's problem or is it the decision of Motta that we need to address? Because playing McKennie and keeping out Douglas Luiz is very frustrating. What is going on? Douglas seems ready to play. As for Savona, he is an up-and-coming promising defender but we should not rush him. It would be better to start him on the bench for now. I prefer to see Kalulu or Danilo as a starter on the right.
We need what Luiz can bring, the carrying and passing range and defense. I think Berto is probably right about the need to mix in some fullback runs and Luiz in a traditional double pivot instead of inverting Cambiaso would help that . Plus it might free up Yildiz to start higher up the pitch when we get possession
I think if we listen very well to the numbers you gave about shots, croses and so on, it tells a lot about Duscan, yap he's not moving well, he's not open for good chances and when he, he miss, but Juve should improve the attack numbers.
It won't happen but I would definitely swap out Osimhen for Vlahovic. The issue with Vlahovic is this - are back to goal strikers now ineffective given the overall pace of play? Outside of Lukaku who is physically imposing in a way that no one else is can you still be effective being up top back to goal? Defenders are so quick today you're too easy to defend. I'm glad to hear they're working with Vlahovic and I'm guessing he might be receptive. I hope they're trying to work on him going forward in open play since I think he can do it and with Yildiz and Koop on the field they'll be plenty of opportunities. He needs to operate in more space. Right now guys are just collapsing on him and he's too easy to defend.
You know what I think. Roberto. The best signing and the most influential will be Conceicao. In fact I would do anything to get Nico Williams. In the left side. No joke. I’m serious. Yildiz. Tre quartista. Conceicao. Will make a the biggest difference open up the goal scoring
Yup Conceicao was the signing that made me whoop loudest, Koop is most valuable ofc, but man was I stoked to get one of the best dribblers in Europe. Nico is beyond our reach though
Conceicao was one I was extremely excited for but I do truly believe he and any player for that matter are not stand alone solutions. Motta has to put the approach together. We are very scattered positionally against a block.
As a swede I’m a hundred percent sure if Gyökeres comes to us next summer he would be a good suit for Motta and would be a very good player for us. Except his absolute wild goal scoring statistic he is a very good dribbler and could easily help the team in the build up. I love Dušan but it might be a better solution selling him and bring a more Motta type of striker.
It’s a problem that’s been speculated to come all of last season, really no surprise. If he plays strong he can make it but if not, we will probably look to offload.
Those 2 Speed monsters. And beating opponent’s one one. Will open the lines for any type of striker. Conceicao. Is a monster. Not better player then koopmeiners. But more of an impact. Especially European competition. Let’s get Nico Williams. Next year sell Vlahovic and Danilo.
I’m not concerned so much in Europe because the games are more open and all our guys should cook and look good there. In Italy is my concern because 90% of our games will be closed off at the final third.
So berto its possible that athur leaves and Johnathan comes in Jan making it 3 strikers on our roster? Or does it include milik being sold as well in January?
@@antonioinguaggiato9305 it’s that he’s a highly rated youngster and we don’t get the top names anymore. The other day many channels were hyping the gyokeres-David matchup, so they are putting him in elite category for potential
cannot fault dusan's commitment hope they are working on his mental side but give it till end of dec to see output if no improvement sell coz its bottom line open to osimhen if possible coz he is proven but salary is huge two to tango as adl is a dick and always a hostage situation with them david on a free yes but not as the main man or to replace dusan need a big proven finisher but service has to be much better
You criticize Vlahovic as if he's the problem, but let’s talk about Motta. Juve’s formation and player positioning are solid, but what was shocking in the Napoli match was Motta’s decision to substitute the team’s only striker, Vlahovic, for a player who, at his best, is a left-back. The plan was apparently to play with a false nine to generate more attacking opportunities, but it was a disaster. Now, let’s ask: which striker was supposed to score? Take the first half of the Napoli match as an example. Juve dominated possession, played on the offensive, controlled Napoli's half, and won the midfield battle. The ball consistently reached the wings, but what happened next? Every time, they played quick one-twos and attempted to cut inside. Here’s a question: how many crosses were made in that first half? The answer is either one or none. So what exactly do you expect Vlahovic to do in this situation? And why blame him when the playstyle doesn’t even utilize a traditional number nine? The way Motta plays, you might as well not have a striker at all. Even when he was at Bologna, Motta favored a false nine. It seems like he doesn’t realize that he has a strong number nine in Vlahovic, whose strength is heading and finishing from crosses. He also has Koopmeiners, who can deliver great balls into the box. So why doesn’t he use crosses at all? Let me explain why crosses are important. A good cross scrambles defenders, making it much harder for them to organize and intercept, unlike low or ground balls, which are easier for defenders to cut off. So, please stop blaming Vlahovic. It’s not his fault; the system just doesn’t suit him.
Vlahovic thrives as a traditional number nine, excelling in receiving crosses and finishing chances in the box, particularly with headers. However, Juventus’ current tactical setup under Thiago Motta often lacks width and the delivery of crosses from wide areas. This approach isolates Vlahovic and leaves him with limited service to capitalize on his natural strengths as a striker. Playing with a false nine or emphasizing intricate play through the middle doesn’t suit his style, and it’s unrealistic to expect him to perform in a system that doesn’t play to his abilities
Juventus has struggled to build a cohesive attacking strategy. While Vlahovic is often criticized for not being productive, it’s important to recognize that the entire team's attacking flow has been disjointed. Juventus frequently wins possession in midfield but fails to create clear goal-scoring opportunities. The lack of consistent service and poor decision-making in the final third severely limit Vlahovic’s ability to be impactful. Blaming one player, in this case, is unfair when the system isn’t functioning as it should
Vlahovic’s role in Juventus is not limited to just scoring goals. Motta himself has defended Vlahovic, noting that he contributes to the team’s defensive efforts as well. When a forward has to drop deep or press as part of the team’s structure, it limits their ability to stay high and focus solely on scoring. Therefore, criticizing him solely for not delivering goals misses the full picture of his contributions on the field
Criticizing Vlahovic without addressing the systemic issues within Juventus is misplaced. He remains an elite striker, but for him to thrive, the team needs to play to his strengths and provide him with better support in the final third. Instead of blaming him for the team's attacking struggles, the focus should be on improving the tactical setup to get the best out of all players, including Vlahovic.
First off, you must’ve completely missed my actual opinion and only the headlines. Second, obviously there’s more to the issue than just one player. It’s not all on Dusan. Now, having said that… some of the defences you’re coming up for him are actually false but it doesn’t really matter. This is an issue for Juventus and Vlahovic and I’ll be quite honest anyone can see dating back to everything we know throughout all of last year and his contract expiring in 2026 that he would have to have a phenomenal year to justify staying… even with an extension and spreading out the salary he could still be at risk for a sale because financially it would actually benefit the club over a long period of time. Vlahovic could be a victim of the circumstances. Either way, whatever happens happens but I hope he figures it out. We don’t need to make excuses for any of these guys though, he’s not adding anything in that Napoli game and he needs a wake up call, hopefully he reacts with what we saw in the second half of last season.
Im thinking. Nico Left wing, Chico Right wing, and Yildaz centre playing a Zirkzee type role.

I’m not questioning anything with Luiz yet. He will come good. I do believe in his quality. Some guys take longer to adapt.

Even from the few minutes I can already tell Conceicao has more aggression than anyone else on the roster, he will help a lot mentality wise too
