With the introduction of the Andrewsarchus, I hope Ark II will have more "mid level" saddles akin to military grade equipment or in this case just industrial grade. A progression system from primitive leather saddles to militarized/weaponized saddles to full tek tier saddles would be a nice evolution of the current system we have.

You actually dont need to hurt them, you just need to bola it, and wait a bit before your first feed, so the food will drop naturally, just bola it and wait a bit, and bola again if you need to.

They are both mod maps, but there are map extention mods for both that add in the missing dinos done by the creators of the maps

The ice queen cave on rag is a great place to farm yellow and blue drops, and u can fly through the whole in the ice with a flyer and flying out respawns the drops
If you put multiple chain bolas on it (yes they stack unlike normal bolas) and let it nearly starve (increased food drain only when you put the bolas on it and don't feed it) then you can feed it and tame it easily.

I have a feeling there will be a lot more industrial level saddles in ark 2, i see more emphasis on different ways to play rather than having one meta creature per task and saddles will help that

You can stack the chain bolas onto it to drop it's health and food. I can't remember how many but I want to say I shot mine like 10 times in a row and I was able to tame it right up.

two things about griffins; one, that you should mut one to make it look like Cobalt from PF, and two, that in ark mobile, there is a system with griffins that they are called "royal griffins" and you have to be lvl 80, have the same last two letters as it, or have on the crown to tame them, which is one of the things i would love on normal ark.
U can't breed griffins...
Hey Syntac, there's no need to hunt the tropeo, you just need to bola him few more time, every time you bola, the food drain down, so you can tame it as quick as the crystal isle series.
and yes, in the series, you bola tropeo twice, that why you tame it so quick, not bc you shoot him right in the face.

Beautiful and dangerous just like a good woman lol. Yup. I've always wanted an industrial-like saddle for creatures. Imagine being able to add different weapons attached to saddles like you can torches, but they're fixed straight ahead. Ptera's with twin crossbows, one on each side of the saddle with the head in between. This would be for a "primitive tier" then upgrading to an assault rifle version. In addition of a Grenade Launcher on the Tropeo saddle, they add an option to switch to a minigun(A-10 Warthog). The Tapejara could have a fixed gun on the front, and one facing the back (to fill the role of a gunship). Kraken's better dino's makes the trike bigger and puts a platform saddle on it. You could put a gun emplacement on that. Stuff like that makes me come up with so many ideas.
They might bring antARKtic as the sponsored map
Those Tropios are insane! When you are flying fast the cannon does more damage that's why you were getting 1835 the last shot on that other tropio.

When will you be doing Griffin mutations? Griffins are my favorite flyers in ark. They are like a Snow owl but battle mode.

You have to chain bola it then shoot it only a little then it drops food very quick when It escapes the first bola, doing this with 2 bolas can drain it even more, then bola and feed
This game reminds me of an old cartoon called Dino Riders except the saddles are more like what syntac mentioned about them being more than just a saddle it has more utility than a place to sit

One thing about the tropeo, the sprint speed is the same speed as the normal speed, so there’s no need to sprint on a tropeo unless you have the saddle on it
The Red Baron is a cool name for the Tropeo, it's the name of a German fighter pilot in WWI.

To be fair the raid episode was the first Syntac episode I had seem when I started playing. I can't tell you how disappointed I was when i couldn't spyglass out of ab. :P

As far as tropio’s go for boss fights, I play on official pve and they haven’t been out long enough to have crazy stats on them yet, breeding cooldown is 1 day 5 hours. My tribe has decent ones, lvl 286 with a handful of mutations. I’m not sure you can take flyers into boss fights. Also, it’s worth noting our rex’s have so many mutations the counters are broken, we have like negative mutations it’s errored out basically, so using tropios versus the rexs aren’t really worth it as of yet. Now check back in a year when we’ve had time to breed the banana sandwich outta our tropios and maybe, if it’s possible to bring flyers into boss fights it would be worth it. We typically do valguero boss fights since it gives the most element and tropios would be awesome agains the dragon and manticore together.
You can bring them into the titans crystal wyvern and manticore

They have a model for the Styracosaurus which is a trike like animal with holes in the crest I think. Make that a new creature and stick a machine gun through the holes, or two machine guns :D
