Here is a 60 minute recording made by Michael Fortune with Larry Connors in Nov. 2022. The interview cotains family history, local folklore and customs as well as songs and recitations and verses. Larry comes from a long line of singers and musicians and himself and his family have kept the Wren Boy and May Bush tradition alive in Bunclody, Co. Wexford.
This is Part One of Two Part Recording and was made as part of a folklore/language based collection recorded and produced by Michael with the support of the Wexford Library Services. This project is funded through the Dormant Account Funds via the Department of Rural and Community Development with the support of Wexford County Council.
