I got a quick question for you. This is the mission i'm currently trying to PP. On verse 9 there is a mid-battle checkpoint after the basic enemy section right before the boss jumps down. My first set of serious attempts, after being able to do the trash consistantly with no damage, I would commit suicide if i got hit during the boss to get more practice in since this ment less load times and that I could skip the trash. I assume if you do this during a legit attempt that your combo points DON'T carry over from the trash phase, but meeting the platinum combo requirements without it is totally doable if you maintain a combo throughout the boss phase. HOWEVER, despite taking no damage on the boss itself, if you manage to get to the end of the verse it seems to give out an automatic 1000 damage taken if using the suicide strategy. Did this happened to you as well, or did you just eat the "return to chapter select" loading screens and do the trash fight each attempt you made on verse 9? Edit: Got it shortly after this comment. You can "Return to title screen" and "continue" to skip one loading screen though you DO have to do the trash again. The suicide method is still good for practicing the boss though. New question. When the boss clones himself in the last verse, does the REAL boss always enter the screen at the same position every time? Edit 2: Answered my own question on subsequent attempts, the real boss appears to always be the last one to enter the screen.
Verse 3 I had no idea that tower could be knocked down.

I did not use checkpoints when I took this video because there was no good break in this chapter.
