It does increase in difficulty the more economies you have but is very much worth it if manageable. For some of the very small ecos I don't worry too much about paying attention to them, but with larger ecos I find it's good to try to aim for your limit when it comes to the amount you can handle (with this class in particular and especially with a more map control oriented strategy). If I were better I would have even more economy locations and that's an aspect I aim to improve on. I'd suggest aiming for the limit of how much you can manage and try to improve and increase that limit as you get better with it.
