This was my favorite video in a long time simply because Larry was back! 👏👏👏 Genuinely missed him being more present in the vlogs but completely understand why he hasn’t been after you guys explained it. Love your choice of books Larry, right up there with ya. Hope we can get more videos that show you guys running errands or doing activities like in your old vlogs. Definitely enjoy the home vlogs but would like to see something different as well. Your decorations are looking good! 😊❤️

@katekurosky2042 He has, she's just imagining things. Mindy even posted a London vlog with her friend and then a getaway with Larry so not sure where the home only vlogs theory comes from either.
@@itsjustmylife_x Actually, I’m not ‘imagining’ things. There have been a lot of home vlogs lately. I just would like to see her doing more than just staying home while filming. And I know Larry has been in the videos but this is first one in a long time where he is actually taking to the camera and more present.

Awesome Idea about the book club. My sisters and I started a book club during the pandemic to stay connected as we are all in different states. We are going on two years now. We have read some amazing Christian books by Lisa Terkeurst. 🥰

I feel like I am more like Larry when it comes to books. I Love auto-biographies, and non-fiction books about real life. Spare is SO MUCH better in Audiobook....because he reads it. Hearing it in Harry's voice is a game changer.

November 17th we put our tree. Last year I was sick and didnt get to enjoy much of Christmas so for the first time in my life we went straight into Christmas instead of Thanksgiving. I still have the outside yard to finish, and some decorations in the windows, but we are pretty much all done.

When looking for books, have you looked at the Paperback exchange? They have loads and I just found a book I was searching for! I also just discovered a new store in Tarpon Springs that is super cute. We love books too. The little libraries are great resources too. Happy decorating! Thanks for sharing!

Glory to God He had me read the Bible in like 27 days for the first time ever last December!!!!!!! It was Epic had to have Prayer Support for Spiritual Covering to handle the demonic attack but did like 45-90 pages a day out just as fast as could to get it all in figure it out by God!!!!!!! Hallelujah Holy Spirit in Jesus name amen🤍✝️🌊

My husband won't read fiction either but I read all 7 HP books to him. We'd read a chapter each night at bedtime or sometimes on road trips when he was driving lol. I was like his own personal audible. And he loves HP now.

I like hardbooks if I am on my couch. If I am in bed for the night i like my kindle. If I am at work I like the audio books, because I am a cleaner so I can't sit there and read, but I also cant listen to music or podcast all the time.

I love to read! Really love history but also fantasy. I’m getting ready to read The Devil In The White City. I saw that Larry read it and it’s been on my to read list for a couple years and I want to read The Fourth Wing as well.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who stops half way through a book 😅 I literally have 3 I need to finish.
For biographies for Larry I would definitely 100% recommend Cane River Bohemia by Patricia Becker. It's about the author Cammie Henry and her three closest friends. I'm not a huge biography person but this one just sucked me in from the start. I actually helped with the proofreading of it during an internship which was how I found it in the first place. I'd also recommend Duff McKagan's autobiography It's So Easy (And Other Lies) if Larry's into autobios as well.
At the end of the year or very early next year you and Larry should do a video wrap up of all the books you read for 2023 and brief thoughts and recommendations. Love the variety in reading taste. Mindy I have to get my hands on fourth wing! Larry I love fiction and nonfiction… I would read the book on Diana and I still haven’t watched the crown
I may put some things out this weekend. My stepdaughter will not be home from college until the following weekend, so I may have to wait. She likes to be a part of it.

I am the same way, I prefer hardback because it looks better on the bookshelf but I do have some softcover and if there is a series that I want and if I get one in hardback then the whole series has to match!!!

My two fav authors are pillars apart. James Herbert, author of many horrors such as the Rats trilogy.....James Herriot, author of the English of Yorkshire Vet. All creatures great and small. Love those books. ❤The humour and general life stories of all the locals at the time. Larry will like as it's true stories.

My earliest news memory was Princess Diana's death. It stuck out because it was the first time I realized princesses were real! Also I'm with Larry on non fiction books. I get enough fiction from TV so I like my reading time to be about real life.
I read It Ends With Us and Lessons in Chemistry. Colleen Hoover is always good. Lessons in Chemistry was pretty good, and an easy read.

Same here, with the Harry Potter series I love the movies actually I didn't like them so much when I was younger. But then I got sick and decided to watch and now that I'm older the movie is different to me I started the books and I just started these second one yesterday I guess 2 answer the question too of paperback and hardback I used to buy my books in horeback. But now I own a Kindle. And it's much more convenient.

Mindy, have you ever read Colleen McCullough's _The Thorn Birds_? It was also a wonderful, if controversial, miniseries with Richard Chamberlain. Larry, remember Shogun, also made into a miniseries with RC? That is fiction that I imagine might appeal to your nonfiction reading tastes. I could go on and on about books-- lol! I have followed the British royal family from the time that I was a little kid, and Diana's death was such a dark and sorrowful time. I Dad still can't believe that she is not here. I remember when that happened, Larry. I live in the Reno No area since 1986. It seems that it is common that planes go down in the winter of the Sierras and get found in the spring/summer thaws. Your being from Ohio, you might enjoy reading about my father Leo F Baker who was one of two pilots that were shot down and executed in Cuba by Fidel Castro in 1961. If you’d like, I have an extra book that I’ll send you if you’d be interested in reading it.
Mark Harmon and Leon Carrol Jr have a book called Ghosts of Honolulu: A Japanese Spy, a Japanese American Spy Hunter, and the Untold Story of Pearl Harbor. Barnes and Nobles have it but have to order it online. My husband is getting it for me for my birthday Dec 8th lol
