Thank you for this review!! So helpful, I saw this bottle but in plastic at the store and I loved everything about it except the plastic so I was so excited to find from your review that they have a stainless steel version!!! I will be purchasing two off amazon now super excited.
+ilove2singnplay Yes I don't even look at plastic water bottles, they are not even an option in my mind and opinion. Plus not only are these steel, but double wall vacuum insulated steel, keeping your drinks temperature for WAY longer!
are these on the same line as hydro. flask I also use life factory glass. with rubber outside to hold barton Cohen used both when at age 60 I would mt bike 20-30 miles per day and 20 mile run bad weather never bothered me but the amount of miles definitely was less
erintintin623 make sure the straw is insterted ALL the way, sometimes you think it is but it's not... if that doesn't fix it you might have a defective lid, it has a lifetime warranty with contigo, they'll send you out a new one no problem.
@@TrentRecommends It has nothing to do with the straw, it's because there's vacuum in the bottle - they don't have a tiny hole on the lid like most bottles do. When you suck water, you create vacuum in the bottle. Normally there's a tiny hole on the lid. When you suck water, the bottle compensates for the air pressure by sucking the air from that hole. That hole is usually covered when you close the bottle. This bottle doesn't have the hole.
I love this bottle and cap, but it doesn't hold enough water. Purchasing the Hydro flask straw lid isn't as nice as this and makes the bottle really expensive. Basically i want the contigo, with it's insulation and type of lid but with more water. any other ideas?
Tal Segev I think the 22 ounces is really quite good especially for 1 person, but for a family who needs water or maybe on an outdoor excursion 1 bottle is not enough, I would recommend getting a large (or the largest) size Hydro Flask as water storage in the car or whatever, and then you can refill your contigo as needed, with the contigo being much more portable. This is what I'm planning on doing for me and my family.
131masood It holds enough water for most people for most situations, also the more water you carry, the heavier and more inconvient it will be and not fit in cup holders, bottle holders, etc. However, if you really need a larger capacity, contigo doesn't make them, but I recommend Hydro Flask, they don't have a convenient spout at the top but they do offer upgraded tops with the spouts. They have big 32 ounce, 40 ounce and even a huge 64 ounce sizes here is a link to them on amazon amzn.to/1ACUNha.
I wouldn't store hot liquids in these, if you want that you'll want this other contigo mug instead amzn.to/1KgAZrp or the video for it ua-cam.com/video/yzHxyUmVxEM/v-deo.html
Poopinacone Poopinacone Yes, any plastic water bottles or even single wall non insulated steel bottles can and do sweat, making the outside of the bottle wet, but not these contigo bottles!
+Poopinacone Poopinacone They don't literally sweat. They call it sweat because after a certain period of time, the outside of single walled water bottles will be wet on the outside and make the surface it's on wet as well. Hope I helped!

To TheMountain, Hydro flask is vacuum insulated double walled just like these, they wont really be cold to the touch, generally room temperature.

I prefer CamelBak stainless steel double wall vacuum insulated drink bottles compared to these both the flip bite sip straw lid and chute lid too
And after 5 years ppl finely found out that these bottle tops acutaly grow mold. Is there a better alternative?

I feel like a crazy person. Why is my straw blocked, nothing is coming through and I can’t blow bubbles.
I want to buy one but its a bit small for me. I wish if they make like a 1ml size
Nice work here. Hydro Flask is a very expensive brand.
excellent review,very good info.
Thanks Cesar!
if i screw the cap on tightly, the suction becomes very strong making it hard to sip. thoughts?

Is there any metalic taste ?? Pls answer, im hardly thinking about buying it.
Kapa TBCZ none at all
Is it possible to store hot water in it for long time? Also, is sipping hot water or e.g. tea could damage any bottle lid part?

does it leak if the top is open and is turned upside down?
Steven Schultz I think it might leak under those circumstances
Bangar ki bottle
Bangar ki bottle ha kaya
I didn't know water bottles sweat.

Um but how do they sweat, they don't have sweat glands?

Jasmine Cai Lmfao I know what condensation is, I was just making a joke. I simply find it humorous how he personifies a water bottle.
