  • In the heart of Baba Egbe, a remarkable event unfolded that touched the lives of over 300 girls and women, filling the air with a profound sense of hope and unity. The Ajumoni Community Outreach, organized by the Blossomflow Foundation in collaboration with Ajumoni community development association, was a beacon of light, addressing the pressing issue of period poverty that affects many young girls and women in the area.
This outreach was not just an event; it was a heartfelt response to a call for help from Adedola Adeyanju, an 18-year-old girl and the current Miss Baba Egbe. Adedola's plea to Blossomflow Foundation illuminated the stark reality of period poverty that many girls and women in her community face daily. Her courage and determination sparked a movement that culminated in this day of giving and support.
With the community’s unwavering support, Blossomflow Foundation provided a two-month supply of sanitary pads to over 300 girls and women. This simple yet impactful gesture ensured that these young girls and women could continue their daily lives without the added stress of managing their periods without proper supplies.
The warm welcome and active participation from the locals highlighted the deep-rooted sense of togetherness that defines Baba Egbe.
