Walt Disney World & Universal Florida Pre & travel day 13 & 14 Aug 2023 - - Gatwick to MCO with BA

- Hi everyone and welcome to our new channel. Join us - Paul, Vicky & Ella on our magical journey from Gatwick South Terminal as we travel with British Airways to Orlando International Airport MCO Florida for our Walt Disney World & Universal August 2023 holiday.
We will show you our pre-travel day (Sunday 13th August 2023) where we stayed at the Premier Inn Redhill Reigate and use the twilight bag drop with BA, and on travel day (Monday 14th August 2023) we use the Maple Meet & Greet parking at the short stay Orange (Level 1) Gatwick South Terminal. We also paid for the Premium Security and use of the "My Lounge" in the terminal before our flight.
We then arrive at Orlando MCO Terminal C and after the bag collection and Immigration, we headed over to Terminal A where we collected our car hire with Avis and the "Visitors Toll Pass" (as this was much cheaper then paying the toll charges with Avis and is at that time, only available in terminal A)
We then travel to the Lowes Royal Pacific Universal hotel for the first leg of our journey.

Lovely family, great vlog guys 🥰 Omg that poor boy getting run over with the buggy! 😂 We loved staying at the Royal Pacific, did the lobby smell as good as when we went? Incredible! 😍 I'm so glad you took inspiration from our vlogs, Ella is the sweetest. Hope Michael gets his sentences right on our next vlogs! We can't wait to watch the rest of the series. Remember guys, how you vlog is perfect for you and your family memories, love the highlights though! Not doing all of the rides means booking another trip!

We are off to Florida 20th October for 3 weeks I have two daughters 11 and 9 our first time back in 7-8 years last time they was just babies so we are excited to go back again an hopefully go more now they older an able to do more. Was headphones provided for the flight or do you have to bring your own?
You do get free headphones but they are the small ones that just push in your ear, not very comfortable but ok. We took our own ones (you don't need a jack adapter anymore they fit the ports no problem) we got some well priced ones from like Tesco before we flew.. hope this helps?
Was the airport lounge worth it? Looked very busy.
Hi there, we personally think so, we got in early so were there for about 3hrs, as I like to be early at the airport but that's just me. It was busy in peaks and then really quiet the next minute, so it wasn't too bad. Plenty to eat and drink and an outside area, so as a smoker that helped me a lot. When we got out in to the normal part of the airport to go to our gate it was so so busy so we were pleased we were out of all that and in a nice area. We would have struggled to get anywhere to sit and eat. So for us we do find it worthwhile. We are flying out 2 times this year and we have already booked the lounges for those holidays. Hope this helps
