No matter how many times I go through this, my units don't match up. I'm doing exactly what you are doing, with 7 rewinds and checks- and it comes up telling me my 'right hand doesn't match my left hand'. what gives?
Hi there! I have 12.5 version macbook air. But I don't have "Integration type" thing in model settings. Dont you know where to find it? Thanks beforehand!
If I want a variable to change value after a specific amount of time, how do I do that? For example if you wanted the 'customer acquisition rate' to change after 10 months, and be 50 instead of 20, how would you model that? In other words, how do I use time as a variable?
Difficult question to answer in the abstract. A stock _is_ a delay, but there are lots of varieties of delay. You can build an explicit structure to capture a delay (stocks & flows), or use a builtin function. It's common, for example, to use a SMOOTH or SMOOTH3 to represent a perception delay. The analogous DELAY or DELAY3 can be used for material delays. There are other options too.
@@TomFiddaman Wow... You are super fast in response, Tom. Appreciated. I tried to use DELAY function but didn't get the syntax to set it up. Can you demonstrate DELAY tutorial with a simple post office scenario, please? Letters in Transit will be the stock. Mailing Rate and Delivery Rate are inflow and outflow, respectively. Or if you already have a simple DELAY model, please share. Thanks, Tom.
Hi. I used the same version of this vensim. Where can i find the sensitivity analysis button/tab? Thank you 😢
You need PLE+, Pro or DSS for sensitivity.

What are the units that are giving you the error?
@@tonykennedy9251 5 of them in the video were not matching up- maybe it's a version issue?
@@TheMandolinn222 What units are giving the error? it's almost certainly something very easily rectified.
probably person & people! took me a while to notice this error of mine
The same thing happened to me

How do we model both qualitative and quantitative variables using Vensim? Thanks for the video anyway. It is a great starting point
