That opening shot is making me hungry 😋. I really do like the design for Dustin. You always got to appreciate the passion and creativity that goes into making these custom characters. You can really tell that Wooden Railway and Lego blend well together. Also the fact that he's interchangeable into making him unique and something of your own is great creative thinking and innovation. I'll be honest zany trains is something that really doesn't interest me mainly because of the fact the characters and designs look weird even though that's what it's supposed to be. But I will say this, they made that camera car that I really want to get my hands on, and while Ruston Dustin like all the other characters looks weird the fact that Wooden Railway and Lego is definitely compatible now I can definitely expect some crazy things with this for your series moving forward. Quite a lovely little review Matt!

One: Dustin showing up in future episodes would be so cool! Two: Lego on a wooden railway base is literally infinite possibilities right there. A tank or turret on rails, a holding car for things, a launch pad, and so much more!
Thi slooks like an amazing custom. Just think about Thomas Wooden Railway and Legos combined together. Instead of humans driving Dustin. Its mice. Great review and also PS I just uploaded my second episode of my fanmade series.
Zany Trains does what Mattel don't; bring us the best of both worlds; Wooden Railway and LEGO. And yes, there was an actual engine named Dustin in Thomas and Friends; he was book-exclusive character who appeared in two books; "Dustin Comes in First" and "Dustin and the Sodor Storm Team". And I gotta agree, Mattel seems to be sending Thomas to the scrapyard by decreasing both the quality and the quantity of his merchandise lines. Even when they brought back Thomas Wooden Railway in 2022, they barely did anything new with it in the following years. If I were running that line, I'd have had new models of characters like Duck, Donald, Douglas, Oliver and Toad released in early 2023.
Dustin makes me feel good Been meaning to pick this up for a bit actually. This is honestly a really fun concept for a toy especially considering how many people in this community live to mix wooden railway and Lego for videos!
The sentiment reigns true, a lot of love and thought were put into these trains and I think the creator really does care. I hope Zany Trains prospers. Great review!
The chassis is a really cool thing just to have in general, building your own wooden railway train using lego is something that will please a lot of people.
If I had a nickel for every time an anthropomorphic train shared my name, I’d have 2 nickels… which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice!

We can just hope the Marc Forster movie will give the merch some justice. Personally Mattel should just send what Tomy has in Japan over to western countries and just age split OG Thomas merch and AEG merch so both can co-exist.

I wasn’t happy work the camera quality from the weak WiFi! 4) UA-cam is amazing! Especially when I started. It’s so cool that you can make your own movies and interact with an audience, just like we are now 5) since I was 1 years old! My grandma bought me some brio trains and the rest was history
