Can you not also say that because the curl of vector F = is , it is associated with a potential energy U = (1/3)ax^3, hence mechanical energy is fully conserved as there are no non-conservative forces that do work. This way, you could indeed say that E_initial = E_final, and end up with the exact same result. Is the method that I described correct?
Edit: Another method (which essentially is the same as the above method) is to use the work-KE theorem.

Sir, Do u know the Scam NTA national testing agency has done to the students. recently CBI Central Bureau of Investigation has raided 20 examination centres where the computers were tapped and the students's exam was written remotely . This is because some people offered 14 Lakh Rupees for cheating in the Jee Main Examination. This is very Frustrating and disheartening for students like us who prepare for the exam sincerely for 2 years

I personally know a student who got 99.95 %ile by this cheating method.
He doesnt even know Torque = I Alpha

Unfortunately, cheating, lying, and dishonestly, can be found in every country at every level of society, even in all governments. The desire to get ahead, to gain, money, power, yes university entrance, possessions, and the list is endless, will tempt many people to use less than honorable methods to gain such things.
The only thing we can do as individuals is to have our own moral code and our own ethics for ourselves and our family, and to raise our kids to be good people with the same moral code. In the end, the happiest people tend to be those not seeking extravagant possessions, but those who have the basic necessities of life and who put their family and friends first.

Energy and Work, great example and explanation. I haven’t seen the a x^2 for force. What does that expression come from? Thanks

It is a made up problem (theoretical problem) to test our knowledge and skills of work and energy

They are indeed very interesting and intriguing, but we also want to build up a sufficient amount to give students a lot of practice examples.
