In today's video guys I talk about cheating in Black Ops Cold War in 2024 and discuss whether or not the game has become unplayable or not. This is following on from my is Black Ops Cold War worth buying in 2024 video, where multiple people claimed cheating is a big issue in Cold War.

Pretty sure those people who were complaining about cheaters got shadow banned

@@teeksy1939 I never ran into a cheater while playing sure I’m just a casual player who likes sniping in games because it feels similar to fishing just waiting for an enemy to pop up still haven’t played any battlefield games yet
yea ive been shadow banned on multiple occasions the only time i have found cheaters are in shadow banned lobbies
Thanks for the feedback out of interest what have you been shadow banned for? Would you say you’ve seen more cheaters since being shadow banned?
I wouldn't say it's unplayable, but I do run into a fair few cheaters.
It's annoying when they kick me from the lobby mid game. It comes up saying I don't have the map or something along those lines.
I’ve never been kicked from a game but heard a lot of people say this. Are you on console? Thought it would be safer than PC 🤣

@@teeksy1939 I've just uploaded a UA-cam short of a hack I ran into. Check it out. He was spinning the entire game and you couldn't kill him.
I haven’t played snd on CW since 2021 but there were a decent bit of cheaters in it when the game was populated, I can only imagine it now lmao
I feel like I need to play some Search & Destroy to see how many cheaters I run into 🤣
how were you able to even find a game on cold war? i sat in a lobby for like an hour praying i could play it cause that was the last call of duty my pc could actually run lmao now i just grind zombies all by my lonely
From my experiences the game is still well populated I never have any issues finding games in the main game modes. Do you have crossplay on or off?
Aimbot is the only form of cheating I‘ve seen and I‘ve only come across it twice in the past year and a half. So hopefully, it‘s really not as prevalent.
Same for me I’ve only ever seen aimbot and like you have rarely comes across it. Hopefully it stays like that 🤞
I wouldn’t consider it cheating but I feel like I’ve been seeing a lot of people who probably have unlock tools. I’ve been seeing a ton of ghostfaces lately and they can’t all be from when the scream bundle actually dropped
Yeah it wouldn’t surprise me if people are using unlock tools, but it doesn’t bother me quite as much as actual in game cheaters. Ghostface is the one skin I wish I unlocked back when you could.
@@teeksy1939 I unfortunately got into modern cod right at the end of CW/vanguard so I missed out on all the good stuff but it happens. I honestly wouldn’t even know where to get an unlock tool for cw at this point
Same for me I wouldn’t know where to start when it comes to all the stuff, it’s just easier to play the game properly! Are you still playing CW now?
Holy 💩 I have this game I bought it around a month ago because mw3 was doing my nut in with the cheating lol but I carried on, completely forgot about this best campaign I've played so far, the multiplayer you (well I start at lv1 ) and I'm facing some that were 2000+ you have the meta we get it lol , I didn't notice any cheating though might have another go on this sometime think I got to level 30 maybe a bit further, but I didn't notice anyone cheating just guns that fry 😂
Love to hear it, appreciate the feedback. Yeah it’s always tough when you come on to a game a few years after it released and everyone knows all the meta classes. Yeah some of the guns on CW are unreal, did you enjoy it when you were playing?
@@teeksy1939 yeah it was ok not great multiplayer tbh but I enjoyed the campaign usually play mw3 for the multiplayer, just bought doom eternal played on ultra nightmare my hands are 💀 lol awesome game that and insanely difficult love it haha
There’s definitely some questionable players for sure. This is why I try my best to keep crossplay off. Now if you play van Gaurd you’ll definitely run into cheaters.
Yeah I feel like whichever cod you play there will always be ‘sus’ players, but from my experience CW is all good for the most part. Not played Vanguard in ages, is it chalked now?

Vanguard was pretty meh in its prime let alone if it’s full of cheaters now 🤣

I always find that playing cold war is really clunky, compared to MW (2019). Its like there is this massive input lag all the time. Whats really funny is that the original black ops plays like that on my pc as well. A whole world of difference compared to Black Ops 2 which is so well optimised on PC that i get reported 350fps on my lowly 12th Gen i5
CW was definitely a change of pace from MW19 and the movement is nowhere near as fluent, but I’ve always quite enjoyed it, never really experienced any input lag.
I think the bigger issue is that you can use Gung-Ho and Tomahawk together and catch ppl off guard with it. Nonetheless I’m still running this, lmao, hope this cheating prob does get resolved though.
There are a lot of strong combinations in this game with the way you can make classes! Hopefully CW will be okay for a little while longer yet, still good fun 👌🏻

Cod over all has cheaters and no matter what it will never stop SMH at this moment I was on it and I had to keep quitting matches and am talking about 1:36 a.m EST
Yeah unfortunately I don’t think we can get away from it, but currently I think CW is okay across most modes, a lot of feedback saying S&D is the worst place for cheaters
@@teeksy1939 i totally agree not gonna lie tho not sure i have met any of them so far, well as it relates to other modes other than S&D i never played it
I might jump in S&D to try and see it myself, but I never play the mode normally

@@teeksy1939 PC will always have hackers. Consoles have some good sides and that's one of them. We just shut you guys off and were cool. lmao

i play bocw all the time (i dont like the newer cods) and i play hctdm and i think i have some 85 days game time and i can name the cheaters , these players are at the top of the leader boards every match without fail , imho not even a pro player can say he will have the highest score in every single game he plays but these ppl do without fail , they play hctdm so its not as obvious as they will get killed in one shot so they wont end up with a score of 47-1 like they would in core tdm , and i have seen some players running across the map and suddenly stop halfway across the map , go into ads and kill ppl through walls on the other side of the map when there is no uav etc up , which to me is highly suspect.
i used to see maybe 1 ac130 gunship a month (strafe runs , haarps , vtols i see every game) now that ricochet is detecting more and more cheat engines and methods they are all running scared and have dropped back to pre ricochet games ie bocw , so now i see an ac130 every day sometimes 2 in a game ! , remember i play hctdm so just one bullet can stop your score multiplier.
when sony banned the cronus these cheaters suddenly couldnt get 20 kills in a game or they broke roughly even say 16-13 etc , whereas pre ban they were getting 30-40 kills per game with about 10 deaths (its hc remember) , now cronus must have released a patch as they are back up there getting 39-7 , as i know the cheaters i generally leave the lobbies as there is no point playing a match you know you wont win and you know that within minutes of the game starting a strafe run or vtol will come in , or they are already over halfway across the map within seconds of the game starting and i have tried to replicate this by using a knife and i know where i was killed and where they were stood when they killed me and how many seconds had passed as i was that shocked i checked the timer and i was not even close to where the guy was stood when he killed me at 5 secs into the game.
the current trick to try and mask the aimbots is to run uavs which they just spam , so they have an excuse of constant uavs showing them where ppl are , and the final kicker on this is im on the ps5 with xplay turned off and the cheaters are on the ps4 which always loads in a bit slower than the 5 , so if you want to find the cheaters play hctdm and in your first game you will find at least one in your lobby.
Thanks for the feedback. Out of interest are you on console or PC? Do you play with crossplay on? I’ve heard S&D is a game mode where there seems to be a lot of cheaters so I’m going to try that out soon. I will add HC TDM to the list of modes to try out!
