I’m not even half way through the video, just at 4:13 and had to stop and like the video and comment. Awesome! Just what I’m looking for. Only that I wouldn’t do any selection to isolate the main subject. I want to apply this to a few street photography images with people in it. To make the individuals unrecognizable. I’ll try your first example with trains and buildings.

Thanks for video I have a question how make motion blur horizontal, Vertical, and path blur in the same image , please need to know how and if you can explain the jousha blur Thanks in advance
Thanks for the video very much, and it was very helpful, If you please we need a talk about Josh Adamski effect and how to apply on the photo , in multiple areas of Adamski effect in the same photo Thanks in advance
Thanks a lot for sharing these photoshop tips Demas! It definitely open up my mind for more creative turn out in near future. Really appreciate that ☺🙏 One tips to speed up Lasso Selection, try combine with Magic Wand to select your buildings and it will help you save some extra time for more podcast haha. Stay awesome and thank you once again!!
Thanks so much mate! Yes I usually do combine with the magic wand tool to select stuff but I thought for this one the skyline was too large so just did it manually haha Thank you for the suggestion :)
Haha Thomas Rizzoli is back! Thanks broo! This is the last one I recorded out of that batch I told you about a while back! Gta record some more now haha
I remember how much I was wondering how "these people" could come up and effectively do such 'lines' at the time of the the Lightroom Japan editing contest for example....😅 Cool that I know the way now ahah P.S: cool that your video is 11:11 minutes long! ahah ;)
Question to all, when using the quick selection tool its becoming frustrating the tool selects big parts of the picture by itself. It seems impossible to select only the parts I want, which results in deselecting huge chunks of the image. I understand the tool should be helpful but when I select objects which have a rather dark grading, it automatically adds other objects too. Is there a way to avoid this ? I'm using PS 21.2.2
Hmm, the quick selection tool works best when there's quite a big contrast between the subject and the background. If it doesn't select exactly what you want you might have to tidy up the selection further by using the Polygonal Lasso tool and then holding on to ALT while you deselect some parts.
lighten mode right? , btw loved it was trying to do this on my own a couple weeks ago but it didn't turnout to be as good as you, But, now I know how to do it correctly , thanks :)
@@Wakanda-e2u The version I'm currently using is 22.0.1 which would be very different to version 3.4.8 - you should get the 30 day trial from Adobe's website to try the latest version :) Here's the link: bit.ly/Lightroom-Photoshop
Today, I was editing a picture on Lightroom. My brother painted the same raw photo on Photoshop and looked great compared to the color grading done in LR. I was referring to, is Photoshop Color Grading better than Lightroom Color Grading 🤔 What's your though in this topic 👀 IG: joyelpriyadarshi
I think both can do the same thing, Lightroom is much easier to control and see what you are doing - whereas Photoshop probably gives more options. But I'm sure you can achieve the same on both Lightroom and Photoshop if it is just colourgrading :)
I love this! Never thought to use transform to stretch it. I’m probably late to the party but you used “Lighten” blend mode in example 3. IG @chrystalstarrphoto

Great tutorial as always, thank you! :) I was wondering, do we always need a tripod for cityscape photography, especially during nighttime?
Thanks so much Sandy! A tripod is definitely handy but not necessary - it really depends on how dark it is and what type of photo you are after :)
Demas Rusli oh I see, thanks!
Can you please make video on cinematography
By cinematography you mean making cinematic videos? I am still learning that myself so I probably won't be making a video like that in a while

You ran through that to fast bud, when your learning you need it to be a tad slower to absorb the information.
Sorry will try to go slower next time! Maybe try pausing or rewatching a couple of times to get the technique for this one?
I love this! Never thought to use transform to stretch it. I’m probably late to the party but you used “Lighten” blend mode in example 3. IG @chrystalstarrphoto
Thanks so much! Yes the transform tool to stretch is so handy! And yes you are right :)
Useless for me. I thought you would show how to create those glowing lines!
That's called Long Exposure Photography, you shoot photos with a longer shutter speed of things moving past (like trains or cars etc)
