Welcome back to Province Smile. This was my second trip to the Philippines to spend time with my new fiancé. We started out in Manila and headed out to Palawan the next day.

I met my Cambodian Queen five years after her Cambodian husband died.
She is fit, strong and very independent.
Although she is fully ‘Americanized’ (30yrs), her Cambodian mannerisms remain.
In this, my second marriage, I feel cared for … not out of obligation … but simply through her traditional ways-of-being.
The level of care she affords me, as her man, elicits the greater level of care that I afford her and her children.

Wow, similar story to me…my late 40’s and found myself single again. Met my Filipina on Christian Filipina too ( she was an OFW in the middle east) I travelled many times to see her, Dubai became my second home 😊 covid interrupted everything and we were apart for 2 long agonising years. Fast forward to now and we are both together full time living & working in Australia! Filipinas are just so caring, loving, thrifty, hard working…everything I look for my girl ticked every box & I love her to bits !

Its truly amazing the lifestyle differences you experience there. I truly pray that GOD blesses you both with joy. Forget the haters and just focus on living the best life possible. I married a girl from Philippines. We been married 20 years. I am USA. God spoke words to me He wanted me to marry. I was given details. I even was given how she looked and a very personal thing. Then a waitress told me of a church in Philippines so I gave them $100. Then as I was walking into my 2nd bedroom doorway God spoke and said give liberally to the church, I did not know they had a building need, I just gave and wrote a letter telling God spoke and my background,, I have no kids, single, 6 feet 1 inch, I sent 2 pictures.... Just before this, someone in the church had 2 visions my wife to be is to marry a tall, white American.... I was her first boyfriend. The first things I learned about her is what God told me. I had no idea how to get money to her, someone in the church did it for me in America. I did not know how to write her or anything. God made it happen.
I had some similar and also very different experiences with my filipina girlfriend. I have spent a lot of time with her living in the country without luxurious modern conveniences. But, because she is so warm and sweet, it was still nice.

I joined CP as a liftime member right about the time the scamdemic hit. Then with no way to travel it fizzed out, still want to see Palawan; it's on my bucket list. Heck I still have my Passport that I went through hell to get during the whole lockdown.
I met my wife on a dating site almost 5 years ago. I'm lucky in that I live in the Philippines and only do the ldr when I'm in the USA. I recommend people don't get married until they have spent 1 year together ( this doesn't include ldr time) because you can't really know the person until you have spent lots of time together. You are still in the honeymoon phase of the relationship which is a great time , so enjoy. PS please don't dance on video. Lol.

You should mention the insane amount of scammers you have navigate through. It can be difficult..but once you find the one. You get to your level of happiness.

On CF as well? Isn't one of their justification for the high member fee to have staff on duty to weed the scammers out?

The filapeanas have scams played on them as well.
My girlfriend and I compared stories and shared some laughter. We believe most scammers work in a call center of sorts. A collective of people trying to get money from the lonely.
CF is a big help, if you decide to make the leap and come hear. They make it easier on you. I am not against the site, just want people to understand what they are up against.
Yeah, it's on CF too but they do a good job getting rid of it as fast as they can. They have a verification process that really helps. (they actually call you and interview you to make sure you are real in order to get verified.) All the scammers stay unverified.
American here who lived in the Philippines for six years. Liked it so much I brought it back with me. We've been married for 39 years. So yes, it can work. But also yes, be careful, not all Filipina's have good intentions. But when you find the right one, they are indeed special in a way that unless you've been involved with one, you will not understand.

It amazes me that people have such strong opinions good and bad and are very eager to share them with you, especially those in the negative so I’ve stopped talking about the fact I’m coming over in a year for a month to see for myself. I have no love of the west (Australia) anymore, our culture is broken maybe beyond repair. The Province lifestyle is how I live here, but people try to fix me because it’s not normal?? Nice story! Great that You found her on CF. Can You tell the percentage of legitimate women on CF in contrast to problematic ones? Your experiences? Did any scammers slip through the net at CF?
Great question. I should make a video on that part of it sometime. It seems like the scammers were mostly new accounts with just one picture. Yes, I did run into a few of them and learned quickly what to start looking for. That part was annoying. But the way around it for me was to do a specific search for things I was looking for and then I went through a big list of ladies who were all on the site for more than a few months. It seemed like this eliminated the scammers because they get banned after a few people report them, it usually only takes a few days or weeks for a scammer to get banned by the site. So yeah, if they have been on the site for over a month or two and if they have lots of pictures then it's a pretty good indicator that it's not a fake account. There are about 2 million women on there so there is plenty to choose from that are not brand new accounts. :) Hope that helps.

Yesterday I booked my flight to meet my friend of nearly two years in the Philippines. I admit I am a bit nervous. We video chat everyday. Sometimes twice. I've come to know her family and never once did she ever ask for money. In fact her family forbid her to ever ask and they are very poor. She is crazy for me. Not sure where this is going from here as I am not wealthy by anyone's standard but, guess I am going to find out. Thanks for being an inspiration.
