Level 3 rod is the minimum level to get koi and arowana.level 5 rod can work the same. But Cause of The higher the rod level the more type of fish you can get .we using level 3 rod cause it can filter out some unnecessary type of fish,by that you had higher chance and less time you need to spend to get to koi or arowana.

Haha lol i yesterday go to mount snow to catch koi.But because i use rod lvl 4 unfortunately i got asian arowana just use metal lure !!!
Went to the same spot as you in Mt.Snow, spent almost an hour trying to get Koi but caught Arowana instead. I almost gave up but I decided to try again for about 15 minutes and voila, got the Koi on my 2nd last bait.

As u can see ur map lvl is mount snow lvl 8 so that mean we need to gathering mystery 70 to get koi.. the koi is not an easier to catch unless ur gathering mystery is reached lvl 70 and above.
No plenty of lower levels have caught koi. Does not matter which your level is
It does not work. Me and a few people from camp are trying. About 15 hours in total. I don't think it works for every server.

This is pure luck and hardwork. Whatever maps you go, koi will only appear if u fish thoroughly and patiently.
Yes and no.. I found that most are caught in mount snow, mouth swamp, and fall forest. I think the key is manual fishing until you get it :)

I fished for half an hour with level 3 rod and metal bait , broke 1 rod and the other one is like half broke and I didn't get anything except puffer fish and some junk fish :(

I just manual in Camp Pond, caught 2 in a week and I harvest just under 200 fish a sitting...I might also just be super fckng lucky.

I did what u did, but broke my 2 level 3 fishing rod and got my koi in lvl 4 fishing rod in the same spot u are standing. 🥺

Can this be done on auto fishing? On a previous lost account I got the Koi (and champion fisher title with it) in camp pond on auto while driving and delivering pizza...lol This account I am level 10 fisher and no Koi :(
I believe it can be done auto fishing but I think your chances are higher if you manual 😊

Black Bunny the reason for level 3 is because it filters out the other fish you get at higher levels. Less fish means better chance for koi!
Level 5 fishing rod can't catch Koi ?
