I was wrong, I thought the first was the Clone. Impressive. Most Impressive.

Got the Marshall and 5150 right. Fairplay tho, this is soooo exciting and impressive. Its quite the leap. I'm a Analogue and Valves man all day but so temped for one of these. Lot of tech in that box and smaller than my 900, 4x12 and current pedal board 🤣

Greetings from Brazil, my friend! I’m very interested in a Headrush Prime pedalboard, therefore always looking for a good review and that’s what you’ve done! A great job indeed! Congratulations! Could you make some more, giving us examples of effects and your opinion about them? I heard to say that its effects are not at the same level than Helix floor or Kemper. Is that true? Thank you so much!

Thanks for the comment and the kind words on the video! We'll definitely go through the HeadRush PRIME's effects in future videos, but for now, having compared to others effect units (Helix, Roland) the HeadRush PRIME's effects definitely hold up. They have some incredible modulation effects, as well as some very nice tape delay sounds. The great think about the PRIME though is the stereo FX loop on the back on the unit, so you can use pedals you already love, alongside the PRIME's!

I actually got them all right! - I heard a slight difference in the openness of the sound. The clones were a bit more compressed or lacked something. Very impressive non the less.

See, I heard it differently. This is why, say for the first amp, I thought the real amp was played second (B) and the clone was the first. The (B) had a more open and loose "woof" to it. Something on the bottom end or the lower mid range. It was subtle and didn't sound as harsh. Sounded more "organic" like a circuit moving a real speaker versus a circuit copying the sound of that. Turns out it was the cloned amp that sounded more natural, to me. Really interesting.

I preferred A for the marshall, couldn't tell for the fender or the 5150

Question, When I cloned my Fender Blues Deluxe Amp it started with a very Loud pop, then it was so Loud I had to cancel it. You have the only video showing this. Is this normal?

How much does the microphone matter for this type of profiling? What about the placement? This isn't recording the sound as much as it is the response of the circuit and the speaker to the frequencies.

So I paused at 5:30...both sound great...amp 1: demo 1 sounds a bit less gainy than demo 2...so I am going with amp 2 being an extremely good clone, and amp 1 being the real deal...listening with a pretty good set of earbuds...will watch the rest of the video to see the results...amp 2: demo 1 is what I am going with as being the real deal, demo 2 is an extremely good clone, but unlike the 1st amp, I can't tell you why I came to that conclusion...too subtile of a difference to pinpoint why...I suppose I am going with the one that I thought sounded better to me...amp 3: demo 1 is the very very good clone, demo 2 is the real deal...amp 1 sounded a little harsh, amp 2 sounded less harsh, but I think it is so close that with a little tweaking of the clone, it would be way harder to tell the difference...once again, going with the one I thought sounded better in the earbuds...paused at 9:24...got the first one right...paused at 9:24...got the second one wrong...and this is the amp I had the most trouble with as to pinpoint why I went the way I did...paused at 10:15...got this one wrong as well...so there you go...

Sounds really close. I'm going with amp 2(B) as the real amp.
Edit: I got it wrong. The reasons I thought I was right made it wrong. And I preferred the sound of the clone. Maybe preferred is a bit misleading but in the context of forcing myself to think none sounds better, I preferred. 🤷
