We are watching from the kids perspective so it might be altered not because the dad cares for the sons innocence but because of the trauma that’s what the sin interprets it as. The scumbag is not a good dad he brings his son into risky situations and doesn’t really care for the health or the wellbeing of the son. The main motive is for him to exploit his son and get what he wants at the end. And nooone if y’all better say but he sometimes gets sad when he’s hurt so it shows he cared.
