@@rangerdanger9485 Covering up the neck tattoo takes work via either makeup or special effects. And Cody just isn't compelling enough to justify that expenditure versus someone else who wouldn't require a coverup.
I can tell you EXACTLY why Roddy Piper came out painted half black. It's traditional Pict/Scot/Irish war paint. The difference is that traditional war paint would be blue. If Roddy came out on TV in blue, Pict war paint, the majority of the audience at home would ask themselves "Why tf did he paint himself half blue?". With the black paint, it was easier to understand it was war paint. That's it. That's all folks. Seriously, not a cancelable offense by any logic. Roddy was drawing on his family traditions to make a great show. Other than that, he didn't give a damn about race.

Yeah, except that doesn't explain the white fingerless glove he puts on mid-match.
Stop trying to make all this crap about trying to explain it. He painted himself half black as a sign of unity. It was misguided, but it wasn't being done to be racist. And in the end, he got punished for it when Andre and Arnold Skaaland replaced the paint remover with water, and he was stuck with the paint on his skin for weeks.
"misguided unity" - That's about the stupidest "woke" angle one could spew. He most likely put on the glove to draw heat making fun of Michael Jackson's single white glove he was wearing at the time.

Personally I think pro wrestling is dead unfortunately. We never just see a normal 1 on 1 match with wrestling moves anymore.WWE has turned into Fortnite now. I prefer listening to Jim rip into it.

I tried watching AEW Dark. Made it about 10 minutes. Not even the announcers are into the matches, so why should I be?
Because nobody cares about Dark...it makes no sense. They literally have 3 shows...all they need is Dynamite and maybe Elevation. I don’t get the point of Dark on Tuesday
Arrezi trying to claim he came up with the idea of McCartney doing a jam of Beatles songs with other artists. Like McCartney had not already did that a 100 times. I can see being upset he didnt do your show but claiming he stole your idea, get real.
I can think of a dozen wrestlers just off the top of my head that should already be in the WWE Hall of Fame besides the Great Khali...I cant remember a single match of his that sticks in my head as being memorable or Fantastic...

Khali, like another 'giant' is a draw for a short while (in most cases) its cool to see them live to get perspectiv how tall/big they are but if they cant work for shit, who wants to see them a second or third time? To me Khali is as bad as Giant Gonzalez, the man cant even do a decent chop.

Clearly QT got married, went on a honeymoon and got jaded in the 2-3 months since the Bunny. He rebounded hard and fast.
If they can't get decent ratings from the "wrestling program", a reality show about one of those clowns won't draw 200k viewers.
Most fans just ask a wrestler they know to show them some moves. If they don't know a wrestler they go to a show and shout at any wrestler who can hear them to do moves on them. But not Arezzi! He goes the extra mile.
Matt Sydal has a mangled foot from a car crash, which makes him more likely to crash and burn. He'd probably give up flying altogether if he wasn't so small. He doesn't need to do it, but it helps a guy like him, and it's pretty impressive he can do what he can do with that foot.
Cornette puts a little too much stock in WWE developmental. Yes, they have great wrestlers like William Regal, Bill DeMott, Sara Del Rey, Giant Bernard training people, but what was DeMott doing in DSW? Having naked wrestlers give each other stink faces and then go out and wrestle terrible matches, it was a step below OVW, by design. DeMott said he got the order from Ace. WWE developmental gave us many of Cornette's least favorite wrestlers, and his favorite developmental wrestlers like FTR were people he liked before developmental.
