Thanks for the support on this vid! I'll be making more overwatch content in the future! (May take a while because I'm a little dumb). Also for people seeing this vid in the future, Venture's Drill cooldown isn't halved anymore if used in burrow, Instead it's cooldown will go by 90% faster while your in burrow!
Imagine if venture actually behaved like they were undergound where they could go under things where there are gaps between the floor and whatever it is. Imagine not being obstructed by fuck all.
I kind of *really fucking hate* characters for whom the counter *necessarily* involves a coordinated effort. If one person can pull off the strat, then one person should have the ability to counter it meaningfully. One person alone isn't taking down a Pharah/Mercy combo -- but this is totally fine, since one person alone can't *do* a Pharah/Mercy combo. That you need multiple people/coordinated play to counter it is offset by the need for at least two people to commit to the strat in the first place. "Teams that stick together and jump Venture tend to do well against Venture" Well, yeah, *obviously* Teams sticking together and focus firing a target shreds *any* character. Literally *every* character on the roster is "weak against coordinated focus fire". That's not a Venture counter, that's a "how to Overwatch good" concept.
fr this comment is very true. I knew that being a coordinated team and focus firing heroes are an instant guaranteed kill on any hero in overwatch, but Venture felt like they amplified that fact a lot. A coordinated team is always a hard team to go against but I just thought I would mention it as a downside in the vid to cover a basis because of how much venture feels like they rely on aggressive gameplay to push the enemy team with.

You can cancel shoot with melee, cancel melee with dash, then finish off with another shoot. It's MASSIVE burst damage.
that's crazy tried out the combo it's pretty nuts, thanks for letting me know about that!
I really enjoy the content! Keep up the awesome videos! 😄
