To people that dont know, there's a roll over switch up front, if you are trying different headlight Assemblies, make sure that you mount it in the right direction or the bike will not start, it has a this side up on it. It will be hanging down just swinging when you remove the old headlight assembly.
Thank you so much, I think this thing turned out really cool and I would love to do another one because I sold this one and it would be fun to have one for me to ride around town. It's always great to get a positive feedback, thank you so much for watching.
I subscribed to your channel while i was waiting on some parts and decals from amazon, I bought a 2011 250 cbr that was wrecked. The front forks, front rim, swingarm, and rear rim was all destroyed, but the frame and motor was in almost perfect condition. I had a 2004 yam wr250 with a bad motor, but everything in great condition. My intentions was a motor swap, but said hey let me try a swingarm, front forks, and rims swap to the CBR, in order to keep it street legal, and came up with something completely different. some of the fairings off of the wr is actually on the cbr also. That's it in my profile pic😁
the new one is the 705. Here's the link.. www.motosport.com/product/?code=SS-M-G-P-NA-PLA-DIRT&key=Shinko-Dual-Sport-705-Series-FrontRear-Tire&cc=us&variant[SHT000X]=SHT000X-X001-Y004&cc=us&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwqdqvBhCPARIsANrmZhM9JecL30IEPp_3_hcvwIF1c7kka0qNuzM8VENC9oeKfgUsXHuyUeEaAsq8EALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
To be honest I do not know it was on the bike when I bought it. There are lots of slip on exhaust that will make your bike sound similar to this. If you find the right website you can actually click on an audio button and hear what it will sound like. Hopefully this video is helpful, thank you so much for watching.
No i did not have any problems with the chain rubbing on the tire. This is a CBR 250R so I do not know it there is a difference. Hop this helps and thanks for watching.
@@hanzdidit it helped sooo much bro you have no idea. I was resorting to buying tires that cost 60 usd more per tire because I tried a 150/(apparently 80) r17 tire that actually rubbed my chain. You saved me heaps, and I rode my first weekend on single track last weekend on my Honda two days. One was a 19 mile trail with only the rear shinko. I just installed the front one last night. It was a lot harder than the rear tire to get mounted. Can’t wait for you to see my bike lol
I used the wiring harness from the original fairing on the bike. I used a 12 V wire tester to test to figure out which buyer did what on the headlight and I was able to match them up to the wire harness. Hopefully this video was helpful, thank you so much for watching.
I ended up selling the bike to somebody that wanted to have a loud exhaust so I never had to replace it. I had a hard time finding a CBR 250R exhaust as well Thank you so much for watching I hope you like the video.
Go to about 4:50 seconds in the video and show you how I actually temporary zip tie it on. I will make a permanent bracket in the future but for now that is how the cluster is Mountain.
I do not know, the bike had been laid down and all of the markings on the exhaust were scratched off. Hopefully like the video thanks so much for watching.

The link to the tires no longer works. Is there a newer link or can you just list what ones/size you used?

What exausht does that 250 have 😮 ? I have a cbr300 looking to make it sound meaner and when I heard that start it was amazing

just very careful - a friend did that to his and it made the settings too weak. ua-cam.com/video/8soLKLhg1Lc/v-deo.htmlsi=b76KhTzFdMdeDYVg
That 150 rear tire doesn’t rub the chain? I tried a diff 150 on my cbr300r and had that problem. If not, you just saved me a lot in tire cost.

How did you connect the drl light? Thank you

I'm in the midst of the same project except all black
That will look super cool. I would love to see it when it is done. Thanks for watching.
If you have no more use for that exhaust I'll buy it off you! I've been having a hard time trying to find Cbr250 exhausts
I ended up selling the bike to somebody that wanted to have a loud exhaust so I never had to replace it. I had a hard time finding a CBR 250R exhaust as well
Thank you so much for watching I hope you like the video.
Nice!😂👍👍
Thanks. I love the way it turned out. Thank you so much for watching.
Where did you get the side mirror?
The links to all of the parts I used to make this bike or in the description below the tires chain in here are all in the description.
How did you mount your gauge cluster?
Go to about 4:50 seconds in the video and show you how I actually temporary zip tie it on. I will make a permanent bracket in the future but for now that is how the cluster is Mountain.
What exhaust does it have?
I do not know, the bike had been laid down and all of the markings on the exhaust were scratched off. Hopefully like the video thanks so much for watching.
What year is the bike?
This one is a 2013 Honda CBR 250R
It’s a 250 hornet 🐝🫡
I think so.
