The damage done by this acquisition will be catastrophic, it might shift japanese entertainment industry forever, I still don't understand why Kadokawa wants to be acquired by this terrible company that js famous for letting franchises die, closing studios that are not profitable and are heavy on censorship & DEI... I guess the figureheads only care about money and don't see how this will destroy japanese entertainment... I wish there was an anti trust law in Japan that could prevent this, or a mass protest in Japan but apparently nothing of this js happening... 😣

And after we’re done with The Last of Us cinematic universe, we can all celebrate the $700 PS5 Pro… with no games to play except The Last of Us Remastered: Remastered Pro Edition (now with 2 extra spores and 15 minutes of bonus Joel brooding). Truly, a console experience where the only thing you can do is watch The Last of Us while waiting for the Last of Us: Crunchy Pro+ Cloud Gaming Edition. Who needs variety when you have fungus and feelings?
I find it funny that Sony was complaining to the FTC about Microsoft trying to monopolize gaming over COD (yet they have killzone and their first party FPS games) and they are pulling this crap with anime and do the same thing in gaming as well prior.
If this happens i will only watch old anime series that already came when I sail the high seas RIP high school dxd and the spin off junior high school dxd, re zero, overlord, and many more series
