Great video as always. I own the charbroil 4 burner. My review after a year/half of use. It holds amazing temperature. I live in Wisconsin and it can get cold. The Chargrill will still hold temps in February. I cook year round and can rely on this grill 100%. In the summer I use this grill as an oven. Four burners gives you options for low or high temps. Even bake cookies and cakes. 100% never an issue. Easy to clean. Not a fan of stainless steal control panels. I’m a hands on cooker and black cookers are just easier for me. If ya know ya know Got lucky when I got this one. It’s a keeper. With the good there’s the bad. It’s not a move around type of grill in my opinion. I put it together in an hour so this could’ve been partly my fault. The side tables nice for putting pans and plates It sits stationary on my porch out of rain and snow so the spot welds for the grease trap brackets failed. Couple screws. Good as new All in all a great entry level 4 burner propane grill. Thanks Mike for all you do. God Bless
Thanks man my Expert Grill is on the way. It is replacing my 2 burner Charbroil grill. I had it for over 7 years the lid on the left back corner had a blowout due to heat stress and rust. It was built better than the one in your comparison more like the Expert. I bought the Expert Grill Before I saw your review. I looked around and liked the 4 burner. I do not need a side burner my old one had the side burner and I did not use it. it also left me wanting for more grill space with the 2 burners. I think the 4 burners on my new Expert Grill is going to fix this with the 4 burners. Thanks for the review kind regards.
My pleasure, David. I’m glad the review videos are helpful for people. Enjoy your new grill! Make good food and memories with people you love. That’s what it’s all about.
Still have my Char broil 4 burner after 7 years, pretty bad condition, but to be expected do to the climate where I live. Still works but after looking at the big hole under the bottom I decided to go buy the same model last weekend…. Lowes has a massive Char broil sale with tons of them already built. OMG what happened to char broil? Compared to my old one everything now is junk! Thin, single wall hoods that can potentially burn the hell out of you! Grill’s are the, and what the hell is up with the little skinny flavor bars? How’s that going to protect the burner’s! I agree, the expert is a better quality. Thank you!
Another incredible review Mike ! I appreciate how detailed you get and how objective you are. Keep up the good work and definitely keep the reviews coming. Stan
Thank you. Great video. Appreciate the honesty. I also appreciate you doing a review on affordable grills. The side by side comparison gave the video flow. Looking forward to the next one!
My expert grill is still going strong after almost 6 years. Had to replace the grease pan and grease catch with make other brand components that worked also replace the heat shields with stainless ones last year. The burners still seem to work pretty good. The overall construction is not bad a little rust on the one shelf closest to the grill. Over all a badass cheap grill, not going to lie. Mine cost 150.00 on a close out sale in 2017. lol
Great review Mike. I don't have a gas grill, all mine are charcoal or wood. If I got one I would go off your recommendation for the Expert grill, it's cheaper and sounds like its better built. Thanks for the review brother 👍👍
Love the Yankees especially now that my guy Rizzo is there. Grills were sent to me for purposes of the review. I then donate almost all of them to Veterans, First Responders etc. these will all be donated. Thanks 🙏
@@EverydayBBQ I like that what you do with them.. I an subscribed to your channel for about.6 months, came up on your channel by accident. Glad I did.. I just bought the expert grill from your review I have a quick question I cannot seem to get it to heat past 400f or 200c is there a higher setting for the gas knobs. And also I find the grates are sticking as with all new BBQ I try to season the grates first but can't seem to get the high heat
Your propane tank might have a partially stuck valve. Also, make sure you opened the tank twist handle enough to flow enough propane. Once you get it let First do a half hour burn off of all the factory residue that is inside the cooker. Then brush some oil on the greats and do another burn off for about 20 to 25 minutes then apply oil again repeat and you should be in pretty good shape.
How hard are parts to find for expert grill vs char-broil, example would be 2 to 3 years and you need or want to replace the burners or replace one plastic tire?
I have heard of some folks getting parts from the manufacturer. I don’t have any specific scenarios to provide, but in todays world, I think it’s likely hit or miss with every manufacturer.
They are both crap. But... If I had to settle for crap, I'd choose the Char-Broil if only to get away from that blindingly shiny stainless steel. You shouldn't need welding glasses to approach your grill on a sunny day. I love the channel, though! You do a terrific job with the content.
Great info...Just bought expert grill before watching this video but you made me feel good that my decision was proper. Thanks for your efforts

Thanks for the nice comparison, as I am currently looking for a decent budget cooker for my son.
Great video I have the Grill Expert and I'm glad I made that decision. Your video was on target.
EXCELLENT VIDEO 😊

Agreed on the skinny burner covers. They should be wider. I wanted to point that out but forgot.
Just bought the Expert Grill 4 burner, nice-looking grill. Very sturdy and I like that it has the cast iron grills.

Great review. It’s a no brainer which to buy. Very thorough review. Thanks.

Another great round of reviews Mike.
Thank you very much, brother!
Excellent review Mike. For me, the grill that has higher BTUs wins as it comes in handy for searing right on the grill grates.
Hard to argue that point!
Great video, I agree 100%. Expert grill wins out. If you TAKE care of it, it last you many years...
Excellent explanation I've just got mine from Walmart for $200 but that was because I bought the cover also.
Mike, thanks for your honest review.
Thank you very much!
Thanks Mike! - I always love your honest and detailed review videos.
