Likely the speed of water flowing is the issue. There has to be enough volume of water flowing into the bed to start the siphon. Increase the water flow by small increments til the siphon starts.
What size piping are you using? I found size of pipe can make a big difference on the ease of getting the siphon to work correctly. Also adding an elbow on the bottom of the siphon....where it drains can help make the siphon easier to start with less water flow...there by making it break more reliably also.
@@llywelynapolywn im use 3/4" pipes. also a bottom elbow. im notice that my siphon form is like a question mark(?) and yours at top is flat, that make a diference?
@@cesarvaldes322 it shouldnt make a difference in theory. Try the elbow trick. I had much more success with 1 inch pipe than 3/4, so you could try the larger pipe size. My inside system had a 3/4 inch bell siphon and was temperamental. Switched to a 1 inch, and it never misses.
i build one but siphon dont start...what do u tink is the ploblem?

@@llywelynapolywn thanks men, that works. but sometimes siphon start correctly and them water flow dont stop and cicle dont start again.
