The brown outfit Wolverine is my favorite version of him. This figure looks good but the mask is way too tight. The arm articulation isn't good at all. Also, I don't know why Diamond Select opted to paint Wolverine's eyes silver instead of white. Diamond Select does a good job of releasing quality figures so suffice to say I was expecting a bit more out of this one. On the plus side, the paint job is clean overall. Also, the sparring is very detailed. That aside, its a good looking Wolverine with a few issues. Thanks Spot!
"I'm the best there is at what I do. And what I do isn't very nice." is from the Claremont-Miller Wolverine series back in 1982. It easily pre-dates Chris Jericho.
They seem to have abandoned the proportions the character usually had in the comic book and to be giving even the action figures a more Hugh Jackman-like body type.
why didn't Diamond Select re-work this figure and give him added articulation that it needs. It has terrible articulation. Very lazy by Diamond Select.
Diamond Select has got to be the laziest toy company out there. Their work is just shoddy to mediocre at best. Just look at their Ghostbusters figures. Rampant QC issues. These lazy slobs don't even try. Getting to their Wolverine figure - what the hell is with that face sculpt? A complete piece of crap. I know DS is capable of great work when they try (ex: Sabretooth). They just don't care to try.
"He is the best at what he does" is most certainly an original montra for wolverine!
Excellent review! I'm having a hard time deciding weather to get the brown, or yellow suite Wolverine.
Nice, I missed out on so many cool MS Figures so there is a bunch i would like to see re released, awesome score Spot =)

I really like the sculpt though.
True! Marvel Legends is wayy better on articulation.
i wish they'd would do a Marvel Legends x-23 figure since she's in the new Wolverine movie Logan
I want it
Crap for a diamond select, expected so much more, like the original 90s style, and a slightly bigger toy
