Had to Galaxy S3 watch for 4 years that I got with my S7 phone for $50. It just died on me, so I picked up the new Galaxy Watch on Amazon for $239. I love it. I matched it with a beautiful no gap silver band and a Ringke silver bezel ring. Very stylish! Totally changes the look of the watch. Also, the functionalities of this watch is much better than the older Galaxy S3. It responds to commands considerably faster. Couldn't be happier.
You must have it on 'Watch Only' mode for the battery to last that long, surely? Mine only lasts about 2 days when using it normally and having it connected to my phone via Bluetooth.

Still rocking a gear s2, only got it last year. Was one of the last ones in stock before they stopped selling it, It's still doing great considering how old it is.

Great video, just picked up this watch from Costco for a special mother's day price of $238 with an extra charger. I like that you can charge it on the back of the S10 while charging the phone when traveling and not needing to carry the charger and extra cable. Did take 3 hours instead of 2 by using the phone instead of the watch charger.
I ordered a Galaxy Watch 42mm that came yesterday, but I realized that it has a noticeable dead pixel, terrible heating issue (short battery lifespan), and a terrible wonky charger that doesn't charge unless you move it around and seat the watch multiple times until you find the sweet spot.Terrible impression (The stress and heart beat monitor was a joke too). I ordered the replacement through Amazon and received the watch the following day(thank goodness that is today). The replacement watch is flawless! I hope my wife loves it this time because it is a gift for her and honestly the defective one made me look real bad.

Do the Samsung watches still only show the last notification from a given app. I.e. if you get whatsapps from 2 different people will they only show the last one?

I don't own a galaxy watch, but I do own a gear s3 frontier. I can reassure you the galaxy watch is totally worth the money. I had my gear s3 refurbished for over a year going on two and it's been fantastic especially now the gear s3 received the huge update to tizen 4.0. I get two full days of battery life and the gear s3 runs so much smoother. I would fully recommend to anyone who on the fence buying the galaxy watch to go ahead try it out or if the galaxy watch is too expensive for you the gear s3 is a lot cheaper now. You can get the gear s3 low as $130 if you look around on ebay. I was thinking of trying the apple series 4 nike edition as well for my first apple watch. I decided to keep my XS max because I want give the phone a fair shot for at least year or two before trying something else to get the full experience of the apple eyecstoem as much I miss android.
Do you use whatsapp? If so do you only see the last message sent from some one if they send you multiple messages one after another? I want a gear s3 but the whatsapp issue is keeping me from getting it

I love the way u can customize it to ur liking like other watch bands & even a different color bezel ring. I bought the stainless steel silver watch band off Amazon & it also came with a black & silver stainless steel band & 3 watch screen protector's. So needless to say I pimped out my Galaxy Watch to fit my personality. I like this watch so much that my Rolex doesn't get that much wrist time anymore. It's just hard to take this watch off my arm now bc it does some many things. My Rolex can't track my steps or make phone calls. LOL ... This was 1 of my best Father's Day gifts ever. Well I first had this version in the bluetooth and returned it as it was too reliant on a phone for most things. Today I had the LTE version yes its partially independent. Yes it makes calls without the phone and receives emails and messages. No messenger or WhatsApp Facebook and and Instagram, wait for it direct you to your phone. This is not an independent stand alone device, the phone boasts a 4gb memory however s major portion of this is taken up by the operating system. Considering this is an expensive smartwatch. It does not have a stopwatch or timer unless separately downloade. I had watched in the 80s that had those. This is a good looking bit of kit. But considering all the hype, I think this device is somewhat lacking and is little more than an expensive gimmick. Sadly this one will also be returned. Perhaps my expectations are too high and I accept that but on my opinion it really is not worth the money.

I still prefer the original galaxy watch. The bezel design is more classy and elegant. I use it daily, love it.
I have the Gear S3. I see no need upgrade. I get great battery life and I've had the watch almost 2 years now.
