Guys, solution to "yellow rectangles" after turning "hiding off back" So: What you do is basically avoid "hiding shells" option in general, you do everything i did in video( #-ing these lines in noise.py in plugins folder at SBPE folder, but at keybinds you just don't touch "hide shells", so it will look like this: *Hiding all shells* noise hide_names toggle no yes = noise hide_healthbars toggle no yes = noise hide_ally_objects toggle no yes = *Note that these lines should have same key to trigger them!*

If you've done what i just said, just read my comment above closely, i explained what causes rectangles if you unhide shells, and how to fix it.

I've basically done every thing in the installation but when I do the 5th step It wont work and says the same message over and over again [INFO] SBPE loader [ERROR] put the path to the game executable in C:\Users\CCDC\OneDrive\Desktop\SBPE\config.ini press ENTER to exit
Well if you are sure that the path you're putting in config is correct - try moving the sbpe folder out of the desktop, try putting it somewhere on the drive. If this doesn't help -> you can always search for help at official SB discord server, as comment section isn't the best place for that.
Having everything else's health but allies requires more advanced plugin, it is not in-built in the default SBPE(You can download it from the official SB discord server, after getting a member role, made by Alexrns). But if you just want to turn the hp feature off, make sure you have option `show_hp` turned to no in the config.ini file(section plugin_extra_info), if you want a toggle(keybind to disable default feature of HP - extra_info show_hp toggle yes no = [Put a key you want to trigger here, without "[...]"] in the keybind section of the config.ini file. "Shell thing", i assume you're talking about aura. It is not related to SBPE at all, it is a picture which is stored in the game's spritesheets. Can be changed with any picture redactor supporting transparensy of the file. I'm not here to be your Informatics teacher, so if you're looking for any personal/step by step help aside from the video you've just seen above -> you're in a wrong place.
Reasons can be different, it's just a sign of engine crashing. Best way to find out would be to make it so console stays open after crashing(it closes right after that by default). This way you could read the error message and figure it out. There are many ways to do this, but i'll explain only 3, from simpliest to hardest, please note that the simpliest also wouldn't help if problem is very deep. So first, easiest way is to to go to the config file, find an option "keep_open", it should be on top of the file, set it to yes, save the file and try launching. If problem is deep enough so that the engine doesn't even start processing it won't make any difference and console won't stay open even after crashing. Second way is to edit the launcher(run.bat file) itself, this helps if problem is deeper. What you do is open the bat.file with a text editor(preferably notepad ++ or anything like that, not the default window's notepad). You add another line at the end saying "Pause". Save, launch. And final third is using external command prompt to launch the run.bat, too long to explain and easy to google if first 2 have no effect. Feel free to reply back what console says, or seek for further instructions at official StarBreak discord server.

First, this plugin engine is a separate program, it's wrong to just call it Starbreak. Call it StarBreak plugin engine, shortly SBPE. Secondly, this type of behavior is most commonly caused by wrong game path in the config file. If it isn't the case I can recommend trying this: Open config, find parameter "keep_open"(should be on the very top of the config) set to yes, this should keep console open unless it crashes before initializing. If this doesn't make it stay open, then try to open run.bat file with text editor and add new line at the end "pause", this should keep it open in almost any case. With the console staying open you can read what error it gives and either fix by yourself or search for help here or SBC discord server.

To easily check this you can just recheck the name of the sbpe folder, if it's "sbpe master" then it's not compiled version. If it's not the case also recheck the location of sbpe folder, is there any weird symbols to its path, etc.

There're a lot of factors that could make problems, please give more info. Also make sure twice that you made all installation steps right. What does the console says? Does it just closes instantly? If so, most likely you made mistakes with gamepath in config.
When I use (misc drawHitBoxes toggle yes no =) I get yellow boxes arounds all characters and purple boxes on other things. How do I fix this? I tried the adding # like you did but that's for hiding shells. I just want to hide hitboxes without getting yellow boxes around myself and everyone else.

Most likely you have a dupe of a trigger binded to a different key. Besides that it's really hard to know what causes it without error code from the console, seek for a duplicate function trigger or ask for further instructions in sbc discord server.
@@pizzatparker Dupe is when you set same function to the same key, like if you'd put zoom to a same number be triggered by 2 different keys. If you ain't familiar with plugins and stuff I would really recommend avoid taking actions yourself not to fuck it up even more and move straight to sbc for help.

If it was exactly sbpe's fault then it would launch with regular steam as it used to(normally). Thus it's not SBPE's fault. Pretty sure you messed up some files or something, try verifying game integrity(be careful about edited sprites, it will detect them as wrong files, so make copies). If this doesn't help, i'm pretty sure you'll find more help at official sb discord server in related channel.
It doesn't require any 3rd party software to do be done. You just go to StarBreak's folder, client/data, you'll see a folder named font there. It has 2 font ttf files in it, which game uses. Just replace the files while keeping the default names.
How is this related to SBPE? My only guess is that you have lower game resolution than monitor has, fixes by actually choosing right resolution in game's graphics settings.
SBPE is the steam&windows only feature, there're different ways of zooming for web though. It's not how you setup keybinds for SBPE, dunno where did you find "level di zoom toggle -1 300 = [key]. It always starts with "zoom level toggle" then you put values you want it to toggle, remember that keybind must be placed in the keybinds section of the config file.

@@trinidadrizo2873 Some of the keys for trigger are just broken, but in your scenario i'd suggest trying a different key(probably the one you're confident in, for example try re-binding another keybinds trigger to this one), by doing this you'll check if the keybind is right at the first place, because if it isn't - no key will trigger it.

Yes there is, using modifier plugin made by Alexrn, instructions to it(and plugin itself) can be found in SBC discord server.

make a backup of your texture folder and validate files, if this helps then for sure its sprites related

Is it possible to get the original hud but in sbpe? I want the zoom capability, but not the hud changes.
Go to sbpe plugin folder, delete plugin named hud. Make a backup in-case you'd want to return the changed hud.

Most likely you did a mistake if it's not hiding at all. If it's leaving yellow rectangles - read the pinned comment.
