I grew up not far from here, and I've been on the east coast for the past ten years. I haven't seen the 395 since I left. Thank you.
Beautiful photo work and the perfect music. This is perfect. Thanks. Very relaxing. I'm too old to take road trips anymore, but, if I could, these videos are where I would go.
We’re glad you found us and enjoy our trips! Thanks for watching!

This is beautiful. I'm watching with the sound down while listening to an audiobook and it's like one of my favorite things to do, take a long drive listening to a good book. Thank you

Love the video! I was crossing it in summer 2019 going from Yosemite to Vegas in a day. I really enjoyed the mountain's road. Miss it!

A magnificent dreamscape…except it’s painfully real. I am a native Californian now living in Austria. I often packed my Tundra and headed out to the deserts for a drive. Highway 395, with no particular destination, for reasons I never really knew. This ambient music captures some of what I was feeling. Peace…I guess. The Austrians have mythologized California. I am starting to understand why.
It’s a place unlike any other we’ve been to thus far. Glad to hear you enjoy the music and the scenery, hopefully you’ll be able to return soon and enjoy a peaceful journey on Hwy 395. Thanks for watching!
@@AdventureEveryDay - I forgot to say THANK YOU. Your video was poetic in its simplicity. I was sitting here last night, watching your video, contemplating Austria’s freezing, grey winters, feeling terribly nostalgic about California, my home state.
It took coming here to fully understand that California isn’t just a place…but a way of thinking. I am exhausted, as we all are, with this virus, with this political situation…and now with Putin saber-rattling not far from Vienna.
Your beautiful, artful video was a brief respite from all this craziness. Thanks again! I SHALL RETURN!
Hopefully some semblance of normalcy can be restored in the world sometime soon. We’re definitely glad to hear any time our videos can help bring some peace into stressful situations. Be sure to take care and remain hopeful!
Why you moved to Austria ? How can you leave California bro ?
@@AdventureEveryDayybe sounds unreal to you, but my name is Dorian I’m from Albania south of Europe, since i been a Kid i feel California in my Soul, I think in the past life maybe i been Californian. I’m proud to be Albanian but when i see California on the Screen i feel in my soul that is some part of me there. When i been a Teenager Albania was an Poor country and with Albanian Passport was hard to take a VISA for USA. But now everything is different, i live in Philadelphia now, i moved in USA 3 years ago. I never been in California yet, but my dream is almost tru now, soon I’ll go there. I’m American Citizen now. Is weird how dreams come true just with the power of the wish. God is huge.
The food truck there in lone pine is great.
💜🤍
Oh, it's the (a) way from death valley to Yosemite. Near lee vining left ;-) Drove it with my father. I remember how hard it was to find a hotel room in lone pine because of the film festival. It was more or less now 5 years ago. One of the best trips i ever did,and I've seen a few places in the world.
Hotels are certainly difficult to come by, especially in the busy season. Thanks for watching!
God that’s so nice I would love to ride my Harley on that highway there nothing in New Jersey 😊that can top that
Hope you get the chance someday!
Olá AED, não sei se você notou!? ... no minuto 34:08 uma águia atravessa a estrada e pousa do lado direito, perto da placa, aparentemente caçando algo no chão. Grande momento.
Nice
Would be good to know what time of year on this and your other vids?
This trip was filmed in the month of August.
Makes me wonder if his car is just that damned smooth, or if he's stabilizing the footage after the fact, or both.
This is wonderful. I dont get to travel.
Thanks for watching!
Hi! I really love this video! May I check if I can use this for just a couple of seconds for a commercial projection in the background? Thank you very much!

What town did you start in?
We started this drive in Olancha, California not far from Death Valley National Park.
I was born in Lone Pine, and lived in Ridgecrest (further south). Made me home sick. Enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing.
@@officeraustintyler235 Glad to hear you enjoyed the ride! Thanks for watching!

We’ll definitely be doing lots more desert drives, we just moved out west to the desert! Thanks for watching!

US is a wonderful country. There is a great variety of landscapes: snowy mountains, great plains, desert and the Mediterranean climate of California. You are lucky to have all these climate different landscapes in one country. That is amazing. Hope to visit your beautiful country soon 🇺🇸 love and respect from 🇰🇷
We can't wait to someday visit Japan and enjoy your beautiful roads and scenery! Thanks for watching!
@@AdventureEveryDay I'm sorry to break this down buddy, but he is Korean, great video though
Big upcheck. I grew up in the LA area and my parents took us kids up 395 to Bishop on the regular. We vacationed in a conversion van we bought used in 1972 and that was some of the best road trips I've ever had. Memories of the time we went fishing in the Owens River after an overnight snowfall....starved rainbow trout were hitting anything that moved. I think I caught one or two on an empty hook. That was ....checking the photos....48 years ago. No way.
Love the quality of your videos. Thank you for uploading. I subbed.
Must’ve been really great times! Sounds like some of the best fishing experiences too! Thanks for watching and subbing!
Bet a soda a truck for the company I worked for passes by.
Awesome video. It makes the internet a good thing.

Hi there,
Any chance you can do videos without music but actuaLLy the original sounds of winds, cars, driving normaLLy no music?? Jst a Thought. 😲
Ur videos are awesome. 👍🌵🚘
We actually haven’t made a video with music for some time now. We did a newer version of Hwy 395 through California here: ua-cam.com/video/Asln1zs-_aM/v-deo.htmlsi=oTjnlJlvlGa89EHn
👍
On the other side of Owens Lake, there’s a small town called Keeler. Just south of that you’ll find Cerro Gordo Road, which leads to a ghost town called Cerro Gordo owned by Brent Underwood. He has a fantastic channel called Ghost Town Living, where he spends his days restoring this town. Very interesting stuff!
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!
I love this drive
It’s so peaceful and serene! One of our favorites!
I'd like to know your camera information.
The music is annoying. Rather hear the engine
What kind of dash cam do you use?
I haven't been there since 1986 (I was a teenager then). I want to go back this year.
It’s definitely worth the trip, hopefully you can make it up to Yosemite too!
Going tomorrow! 2 nights. Going to the Wanahaa casino and the casino in Independence. Too bad Bar B Q Bills and the Sportsman's Inn aren't there anymore. Neither is Soper's Casino up in Montgomery Pass Nevada.
Hope you have a great trip!
Just finished eating at Wanaaha. Going to go gamble some more. Might stay 1 extra night. Beautiful drive up here.
Had a wonderful trip. It was so nice to see again scenery I hadn't seen since 1986. I did stay the extra night. Wanahaa is a great casino. My girlfriend liked the trip too. She moved to California 4 years ago and wants to see all of her new home state. On trips on highway 99 on the way to Fresno she has looked at the mountains to the east and wondered what is on the other side. Now she knows. The beautiful Owens Valley is on the other side. I have lived my entire life in the desert and I love the desert. It is quite interesting just how much variety there is among the different desert regions of America.
