It’s good to see UA-camrs still hyped about the game, all these other channels have seen the leaks or are letting other peoples opinions dictate whether they should be hyped about the game or not, for me it’s still a last of us game and I’ll make my own opinion when I play all of it. Think it’s gonna be a good one

The leaks and what I learned from them was very disappointing especially since I was a big fan of the first game. I think the game will be well produced with great gameplay but the story is different.
The leaks were a good thing. Saved a lot of people money. The story is so bad and ruins the whole game.

I see other comment sections and it's heartbreaking to see so many people talking shit about the game already. I mean, how dumb can you be to believe a few screenshots for a several hours long game and decide it's bad...? Toxic Gaming At least wait till the game is out to dictate whether or not people will actually disappointed or not. 20 minutes of leaked cutscenes doesn’t change the fact that this is a 30 hour experience that we are getting into. The game could be a massive disappointment, but at the same time it could end up being even more successful then the first, we just have to wait and see what naughty dog brings to the table come June 19th. I’ve personally enjoyed every game they’ve dropped and I have faith in them.
This trailer was supposed to drop on the day they announced the indefinite delay. Some screenshots from this trailer accidentally dropped that day. Before the old build leaks dropped.

To whoever wants to leak the story in the comments section, get lost. Nobody gives a crap about the leaks because it won't determine whether they want to buy the game or not. Another thing, I'd rather not know because of the hype the game has. If you're a huge fan of The Last of Us, you'd rather not know about the leaks because you wanna feel the hype before it comes out. When I heard about the leaks, I told myself that I'm not going to see or hear about them because then the hype is gonna be ruined. But to those of you saying in the comments section, "Oh, have you not heard?", "Did you not hear about the leaks?" etc. Seriously, shut your mouths. So what? What's your point? Get a life!

1. Joel dies at the beginning of the game
2. The woman who kills Joel(Abby) is most likely a buff transgender so the game has lots of pushed agendas.
3. For half the game you don't play as Ellie you play as Abby the woman who kills Joel in the first act of the game and proceeds to hunt down Ellie so you have to hunt Ellie as Abby.
4. Joel's death was handled poorly and isn't going to be accepted by most fans.
5. Ellie possibly dies at the end and if she doesn't she goes after Abby and starts the whole revenge cycle between Abby and Ellie.

I get Joe's concern about too much hype but he is overlooking something: Joe's in the know (pun unintended 🤣). He and the Cyber Nerds have seen all of the TLOU2 trailers including the one of Ellie mostly playing guitar and the one without Ellie or Joel.
But many people are not as informed. For a lot of people this is the first time hearing about The Last of Us--not part 2 but ever. Not everyone is as up to speed. Naughty Dog has to keep the hype up to try to attract even those totally new to the ... um .... "Clickerverse".

I've seen the leaks which have been confirmed as true. I won't post them because I know people like to live in the dark and denial. That being said, this trailer is borderline misleading and is Naughty Dog's attempt to do damage control by showing people what they want to see. Personally, I rather know if a game will be trash so I can save my money and not support a company that doesn't care about its fans and employees.

Sadly after seeing the story leaks and cut scenes, the game’s story is absolutely garbage. Not only did they ruin the story with their stupid political agenda but they disrespected our characters in the worst way possible. Last of us 2 and Naughty Dog are under major controversy the past 2 weeks or so with the employees exposing the horrible working conditions, pay and the stupid writer.
Ghost of Tsushima, Cyberpunk 2077 and FFVIIR is the way to go tbh.
The person who leaked it actually saved so many people from wasting £45 or $60 on this game so leaking was the right decision.
I genuinely recommend checking the leaks for yourself. I would never wanna hate on a game for no reason. I loved the first one and I was super hyped for this game but all the story details shown to me completely ruined everything. Rubbish.
