A Catalyst according to Oxford Languages is: "a substance that increases the rate of a chemical reaction without itself undergoing any permanent chemical change."
I tried to keep that in mind, decided that the "you" is the Catalyst, and interpreted the lyrics that way. Thus, the lyrics aren't a completely neutral interpretation. Gyuuniku's lyrics are very hard to interpret, but the song only made sense to me this way.
