Was having a horrible day until I saw your post!! Thank you my friend!!! XOXOX I would LOVE to be on the boat when you land a great fish, but what I would LOVE more is to be in the kitchen while you are cooking the fish. THAT fish looked soooo good!!! 5 Star Restaurant grade cooking!!

Long time watcher, first time commenter. Love the vids mate!
Misu eggplant is called nasu dengaku. It's utterly delicious! I normally thicken it up a tad so it's a little more like a toffee paste when it cools a bit. I put it on salmon. It's my favourite meal! I'm salivating watching this video!
My recipe is 1 part sake and mirin to 2 parts misu to 3 parts sugar.

Rod if you put the yakka in the tank and pull it towards you allowing the hook to catch the edge of the tank, it will de-hook the fish and drop it straight into the tank.

Nice to hear you may head to the the US, my old stomping grounds. You mentioned the Islands and my first thought was Hawaii? I'd like to see you try Socal or Baja California and. a Mexican trip but that's your call Brother? Whatever you decide is cool. Best of luck! 🐟💪

Southern US flies are same? love a Bonnie but when it comes to ambers I like those smaller jobbers, the larger ones here will get worms in the rear of the fillets, shoulders usually good? Good on the smoker as well. Not sure your plans in the US but if your hangin with Freddy again get him to get you out off Boynton beach or Pompano! Cheers man! Tight lines

I’m thinking about getting an inflatable boat. I guess you recommend the catamaran style? Any advice? I’ve boated much of my life, but never with an inflatable. Gonna be on fresh water only, maybe some large lakes, some medium. In Canada, a really big lake is the size of countries like Hungary btw, but I won’t be on any that big.
