      We do have one, it's a collapsible one that we set up at night and use wood based cat litter in a thick "commode" liner. Once it's packed down it just becomes a rubbish bag ready for disposal in a general waste bin.
      Serves us very well but we always check for local toilet locations when we park up all the same 😉

    Nice van build. I enjoy seeing other folks designs. On a personal note, I've been a bit worried for you guys, what with the high temperatures over your way. How are you two and the dogs holding up? Stay cool my friends. Cheers!

    • @CampervanTales
      @CampervanTales  2 роки тому +1

      Thanks Micky for your concern. It did get a little overwhelming at 40°C and the dogs struggled, especially Nab. We wouldn't have liked to have been away in our van at the time. We are used to seeing wildfires on the news in the US and Europe but it was a shock to see them over here and houses destroyed too.
      It is a lovely van build and well thought out. I'm direct will give people some ideas for their own builds. Have a good weekend. We promise, more countryside soon.

    That's a great fit out I must say, Leigh & Tracy must be well pleased. Did you go up any 25% gradient inclines guys? That's what puts me off some places having an old van with average size engine. I find steep hills a challenging mentally ( is my van going to fail? challenging ) 😲 Great show guys! 👍🙂🚐🌈

    • @CampervanTales
      @CampervanTales  2 роки тому +1

      Good to hear from you. Hope you are keeping well over there.

    Wise choice of base vehicle, timing chain so no belt to worry about and would love an LWB. 5'6" means you won't get it classified as a campervan and not a layout that would suit me.

      Hi we used a Contour gauge to get the round corners for our bungs. But only measured the width and height if the window in the middle - mistake!
      The window tapers so you need to measure the window width at top AND bottom then use the contour gauge for the corners
      Hope this helps
