Another point to compare which most reviewers forget is lowest gear ratio (for ease of climbing) and highest gear ratio (for speed). I know you've mentioned cassette crank combination but maybe an added comparison side by side would add more clarity 👍🏼

Marlin looks a bit bland to me, I feel specs can be upgraded but frame should be beautiful plus I don't see Marlin much in the market or roads, should I go for a new brand and how are their aftersales?
Marlin is not sold on every road side bike stores, they are primarily Direct to customer based with 120+ Bike shops ( exclusive based on locations), after sales service unko zarurat padti hai jinki bikes mein kami ho, rest they are taking care of everything incase a warranty issue arises.

Hmm l didnt know this. Now looking at these bikes i feel like my Veloce v200 is of better quality than any bike in its range. It comes with KMC chain, Sr suntour 120mm, Internal Cable routing with cable hooks for outside routing, Jag wire housing, Dual adjustable seat post, Acera drive train, metal pedals. Sealed wheel hubs, tektro mech brakes and rotors, altus shifters, 730mm handle bars, lockon grippers, good decals(everywhere) with no marketing bs other than the ackward wear helmet marking. All of this at 27k and it's MTB ready like i have smashed it hard on th trail and it hasnt budged even a tiny bit. Couldn't have asked for more.
Yes veloce is good bike and price to components ratio is excellent

Watch the video again, Compare graphics of United and Marlin. Cardiac is mass market segment brand, marlin is more for xc, serious riders, and quality bikes at affordable prices. Similar to Canyon who are now more direct to customer instead of Bike shops

I rode trek marlin 5 gen 2 today, the rolling speed nd braking it provides is absolutely good nd feels powerful but which one is better, trek marlin 5 gen 2 or Marlin m900, my budget is 50k
Definitely m900 it's less expensive than marlin 5 gen 2 and comes with better groupset.. Overall components also m900 feels far more superior
