My observations from the fight :
    1) A beautiful use of post-match-winning speech. Send a message of peace and unity to the world against violence.
    2) A display of great mental state, when he expressed gratitude to UFC management for getting him where he and his family are today.
    3) A brilliant display of dominance in R1 from Khamzat. A master display of defense from Usman. Not many could have avoided a choke from that position.
    4) A mature way of approaching R2 from Khamzat, with an injured hand.
    5) A complete nail-biting thrilling fight display in R3 from both the lions. Combination of striking, grappling, defense and respecting the opponents.
    6) Khamzat's display of admiration for Usman through his post-match-winning gestures (tap on the shoulder post-match winner announcement), his words for him during the speech, and when he says 'He Made Me A Better Fighter Today'.
Khamzat hand getting injured evened out the odds for Usman for a short-notice fight. Made this a competitive contest.

Today a lot of you have come here and a lot of you are watching along at home. President, may Allah be pleased with you, may He strengthen you, standing with you and fighting for you isn’t that hard.If Allah allows me to, Wallahi I will go there as the first person. By Allah, give me a rifle and let me go to Palestine. Allah be pleased with you. Wallahi, I’ve not been raised to be in here wearing shorts. Do you Chechens not know the heart we have in our body? If I get permission to fight for Allah, I’m ready to die for him. I’m not as worried about dying as I am worried about my Muslim brothers.”

Fuck man didn't think this would actually bring a tear to my eye... When he got to the part about making money for his mom, that was too real. I know that feeling. And thing is he's always been this way from the beginning. Not everyone saw it, but you can tell from the way he does unnecessary things to get his name out there, like picking up Li and carrying him across the cage. Guy really came from nothing, and doesn't care for the belt or becoming champ. Just wants to make enough money to let his family live happily.

Thanks for my Country...Chechnya. May Allah Bless all of you Chechens. I know a lot of you came here and a lot of you are watching at home.
And President (Kadyrov), May Allah Bless you. It's not hard to fight in here, but with your permission, in the name of Allah, I would be the first one who would go there (Palestine). In the name of Allah, give the permission to go there. Wallahi, I wasn't raised so I would be running in shorts in the cage. They don't know our Chechens burning hearts (for Muslims who are dying).
