    I don't think that the flow is possible only if there is pressure difference....Please elaborate it....

      Flow may also take place due to potential difference bcoz of height difference between two sections which means flow takes place from high pressure to low pressure region...👍👍👍

      Think like this, At point 2 the pipe continues and the force exerted on pont 2 in the direction of flow will be p2A2 then it is obvious that for net force at point 2 be zero a force equal to p2A2 should act in the opposite direction of flow and that force at point 2 is considered here
      I think that will clear the -ve sign issue

    How would you take into account the momentum flux correction factor? Is there a way to find this factor? I found somewhere that the value is 1.03 but I am not sure where that number is coming from!!
