Jeno, an 18 years old boy (2018), was chosen to be the center of Black on Black, leading 18 men. Last year, he was still chosen as the center of 23 men during Resonance. He was chosen to be the center ending of 90s love. His part on Misfit was considered as one of the killing parts of the song. Despite having few lines on Deja Vu, Jeno showed that he can sing. He was one of the people who contributed on the shouting part of 90s love and Resonance which he did so well to the point where he almost lost his voice. He managed to shine last year even though he was inactive for most of the year 2020 and he only participated on three songs of the whole resonance album. He knows how to highlight his presence on stage because of his stage presence, dance execution, and facial expressions. He managed to learn Taeyong's part on Make A Wish within an hour and he perfectly delivered it on stage. Despite of debuting as a vocalist, he improved his rapping and became Dream's main rapper after Mark left. He is also the third most credited songwriter on the whole NCT. He writes his own rap parts like in 119, Bye My First, and so on. During SMTown free live concert, he was chosen to be a part of Hope performance (encore) making him the youngest person out of all every SM artists who participated. Despite of the fact that he knows nothing about dancing, singing, and rapping when he joined SM, he was still able to improved himself as a dancer which made him a lead dancer in Dream and one of the lead dancer in NCT. When he was 16 years old, he managed to be one of the center of Black on Black performance in MAMA (2016). He is also one of the members of NCT which has a stable voice on stage despite of performing a tiring dance routine like 90s love. For the Dream Show challenge, he learned acrobatics within a short period of time despite of knowing nothing about it. Until now, Jeno is one of the NCT members who continue to hype up crowd and improve their stage by doing stunts. Before entering SM, he was a child actor and also a model. He filmed 14 commercials, one movie, and also model for clothing brands and so on. When SMTown Dubai happened, Jeno was chosen to represent the whole NCT on an interview and he was only 18 years old at that time. He was also complimented by Yunho of TVXQ, one of the legends in kpop, for speaking so wisely and well. Taemin, a legendary icon/idol of idols, said that Jeno has his own talent. Jeno also know how to adjust with concepts which makes him a versatile performer. He is also known for his duality. When Mark graduated, Jeno took up the leader role which has been acknowledge by his members unofficially. His members also relies on him. Despite of having a bad eyesight, he managed to secure a win for Dream during ISAC scoring 9-10-9-10. Cramming for three days isn't enough when you need to take the exams in Korea because of how hard it is but Jeno managed to be the second highest in his class and top 10 in his whole batch. This video is the proof that Jeno fans need a reality check. First of all he is not an ace. Aces are K-Pop idols who are talented at many areas. He is a weak vocalist and that's SM gives him rapping lines, because he can't sing. He can't rap either, he shouts or talks quickly yet his fans call it a "rap verse" and hype it up as if their lives depend on it. His dancing technique is very weak, most members are better dancers than him (Jisung, Renjun, Ten, Taeyong, Shotaro and still counting). His strength shouldn't be considered as a talent, because it has to do with someone's body, not a skill or hard work.
