I was taught imperial at school. No way am I changing to metric in order to satisfy a crackpot European regime, which I'm glad to say we no longer belong.
I heard that you can get a table to convert metric twiddles to imperial twiddles via a twiddle ratio calculation.

Apparently they made metric ones for export and Imperial for the domestic market...
