Ralph's version of the classic Davey Graham (Bert Jansch etc) tune, recorded at the Trinity Sessions, Adelaide, Australia May 12 2012. www.ralphmctell...
A nice melding with Lullaby of birdland. I have been wracking my brain trying to work out what the extra element was and where I had heard it before. I love Ralph's version, the best one in my opinion!
Tony Davies ... nah... my version march better, begins slowly, is simpler, ramps up a bit, and then doubles in speed to end in a breathless, blinding FLASH of WTF was that !!! ???
Keith Wigley ... ah, yep... you win, Keith. I can't top that. But I am still learning Mood For A Day by Steve Howe. And after more than 40yrs at it, I'm very proud to announce that I've almost got it down to a T, like as in the Yes Songs live steel string virgin...
@@pereraddison932 Humm..good job you conceded ..I was about to put my naked version on the Tube Perer to show you...never heard Steve Howe ..so took a peak..great guitarist..I like the tune he plays ''Clap " well done for mastering his other one...you can see me naked trying to sing Ruby Tuesday cover and where I almost passed out nightime comes original..weird version of house of the rising sun. On the spot made up..boogie it on down for you.. All the best with your guitar playing and hope to see you fully clothed on the tube....yo..
Keith Wigley ... hi, Keith. Gr8 conver-sing with you. I don't know much about mastering. I'll leave that up to the expert studio technishens to werk out. Ha! I saw Ralph McTell, way back in the late 70's, at the Melbourne town hall, Victoria, Australia, not long after I lost my balls and got married. I'd heard and roughly learned Streets Of London, and was compelled to haul myself and the misses out to see what he was like in concert. He was very good, and we all enjoyed his show. I'd already discovered Leo Kott-key by then, and I was struggling with his song, The Fisherman; still am. But that's another story. A truly gr8 find I've found is Steve Hackett. He is a real Prog Maestro. And his classical work is exceptional... Regards. PDA...

That's so true...one's guitar playing skills were judged on how well you played Anji!

Do you have any more than these 3 by any chance?
