I’ve been looking at this brake kit for my ek for a while now! Glad to know how you managed to make it work! Part numbers or more specific info on the brakes would be awesome 😅
@Sally so im in my early 40s, always have been into fixing up chevys late classics and i know lots of rebuilding carbs, so i am seasoned. Now that im older i ha e gotten into imports mainly Honda and so much out their i must say different but same in so many ways and what i do know is that it all falls back to fine tunning, maintenance and aftermarket parts and top of libe parts are great but also some cheap parts are great also. My encounter on a my beater that after the encounter my stock engone took a win over 5.0 newer mustangs 2020 and 2021 i think that where racism past me so i was just driving along testing out my works and fine tunning until these two mustangs raced past me out of nowhere. My 1998 Honda Civic automatic stock but basic tuned and the only thing besides adding good plugs and oil and air filter and adding an extra 9" inch fan that was in front of my radiator at low position to cool tranny oil also, well that was all it needed to kill my engine or more so my main bearings and top and bottom. Now i still have what i call "The Hammer Stick" because everytime i turn it on sounds like a Hammer smacking a oil drum loud that it also turns heads for the wrong reasons. 😂😅😮😮😮😂😮😂. THE AFTERMATH... as the 2 mustangs raced past me, with quickness i hit the toggle switch like if it was NOZ😂😢😂. drop the automatic stick to Lo gear pick up rpms almost redlined twice before lining up with them as they both young boyz turn looking at my rolling Civic and with quickness i deopped gear a 3rd ans 4th time, gain half car to almost a car length in front of their screaming mustangs the 28 or 29yr old kid to my right immediately quits the other kid to my left who now is pretty much behind me stay in the race with me a ms he cant come to the conclusion that a civic beater that has a trashy paint just went around him and as im listening and watching out for Pd or CHP I slow down enough to let him get next to me than manages to get in front because of traffic then with no traffic in front of us he slows me down because he still in front then the mustang kid moves over as he lunges in front as i dont have that power to straight lunge and im an automatic but eventually i drop gears multiple times, i catch up and i go past him a 2nd time as hes struggling to stay ahead with his engine whinning at max and im drop gear one last time to show him my beater with trashy paint and then he quits the race but with anger as hes pulling away and flipping me off(the birdy went up)... As i turn around head home i won over 2 mustangs and i sacrifised my engine😢😢😢😢😢😢😢, Now THE HAMMER STICK... im wondering about junking it or should i fix dont know but i do know i out in lots of tine to fine tune it. Oh i did do the replace and fine tunning of the timing belt and maybe thats what helped me win but the cranck main bearings took the pressure and i was glad to just have gotten home deivibg it....😂😂😂😂😢😢😢😢😢 i miss my now Hammer Stick. Help help help anyone spare parts please.....
Had my scooped bonnet and wasn’t even going 60kms idk what that is in miles but yeah the scooped bonnet just went bang and flew back and shattered my whole windscreen dinted my roof biggest scare off my life lucky I didn’t crash couldn’t see anything once my windshield flew back lol took it off now I really want to put it back on. I mean I did spend $1000 on a spray paint job for it lol just to find out that I’m not even allowed to have carbon fibre on my car lol you got a link for your bonnet cheers 😎
Fantazijos suvesti tarpams neturi, pas mus būtų tokios galimybės..tai tokiu dalykų prisidarytume..ir ledas būtų..o čia visko turi bet kai dvi kairės rankos tai taip būna..
I've never owned a Honda but I've worked on a few. I'm a Chevy guy myself. Grew up with friends who worked on their cars. How did you learn how to work on your own car Sally? I follow you on your Instagram account. You are so rad!
And expensive, too. I picked up the JDM B18C5 I still have in my CRX over 20 years ago for $3000. This price didn’t change much for many, many years. But now you are lucky if you can pick up the same motor for under $7000!
I'm only sorta kidding when I say I'm dying to find a really good mechanic who really knows how to tear down and rebuild a car..cause I have a (don't laugh) Saab that still runs like a top...but could really use the full bore treatment. [Mechanics where I live see my car, and shutter all the windows and lock all the doors. Don't want to have a thing to do with Saabs.] As for, "It's hard to find Saab parts, anymore...I know ALL the parts outlets, and have never once had trouble finding ANY part I needed if I made up my mind to locate it. Ready to pay worthwhile bucks - I intend to keep this car, so book value is irrelevant as a cost versus benefit factor - for the right..."guy." You game?
balance your audio a little more and turn the backing music down a bit, it's difficult to hear you because half the time your mic audio is super low and the the other half the music is pretty loud. Great video, just hard to hear in parts.

My old B18c5 /s28 eg hatch was probably the best car I've ever owned. Love that engine!!!
Love the EK! Beautiful build, love the period correct B swap and radio delete! Keep old Hondas alive!
I’ve been looking at this brake kit for my ek for a while now! Glad to know how you managed to make it work! Part numbers or more specific info on the brakes would be awesome 😅
I grew up moding Hondas. These always have a special place in my heart! Also love the choice of mods!
I always loved EKs and those tail lights I haven’t seen those in a long time brings back memories beautiful build.
I work at honda and being a service is no joke ur there before every1 else and leave after every one else
Солом.минга.иш.борми.мин.узбик.
get there before everyone else yes, leave after everyone else, debatable
That’s all service bro 11 hour days it’s shit
Such a sick build glad I got to see it in person this past weekend at the pavs. Hope to see it again soon!
3:52 sounds so good!
I absolutely adore this car! It’s really well done!

That answers my question! I saw a few shorts the other day and I'm like how you afford all that swag. Like your attention to detail.

And expensive, too. I picked up the JDM B18C5 I still have in my CRX over 20 years ago for $3000. This price didn’t change much for many, many years. But now you are lucky if you can pick up the same motor for under $7000!

Hmm can you do a b series on a 2000 civic ex coupe?
How much money do you think you’ve put into the hatch?
What website do you use for buying stuff from Yahoo Japan?
