For those of you that are wondering, he added vodka to the melon liqueur to make it less dense, otherwise it won't layer correctly (The liqueur will sink near the bottom where the grenadine is because those both have lots of density)
Edit: I'm going based off of memory from the last time I watched the introduction to alcohol videos, which was over half a year ago

You could probably experiment with Grenadine, Blue UV, Pink Whitney (or just Pink Lemonade)
You'll probably have to premix some of the blue uv and grenadine to make the purple
with some experimentation tho I'm sure you could figure it out
