@PSILOCYBETRIBE That's the thing, everyone seem to have a different understanding of it. To you space is an afterlife kind of setting. To us, it's very much in this life and around us. Our lyrics are very Physics/Sci-Fi related. I see there are many bands using images of space etc, but i've come across many that don't follow the theme. For us, it's all about setting the theme. I've been a fan of everything science and fiction so this project is merely a reflection of what space means to us.
They have a new vocalist now (Sunneith Revankar) and are done with recording their debut album. Shits about to get real. Listen to Trayus by Skyharbor to get an idea of how the vocals would sound
@mysteriousDSF I don't think it has anything to do with the IT folks, but Bangalore does have some decent bands! Although in my opinion, the better bands are up North in Delhi/Bombay/Pune!
@SATANECRONOMICUS more than you may think, metal scene is huge in India. Sources: I'm Hungarian, lol, not Indian, and even I see it is so through the internet. xD
@SATANECRONOMICUS Dude, you must have clearly not heard of Skyharbor (earlier Hydrodjent) from India. DO IT. NOW. Ex-Tesseract vocalist on vocals and Marty Friedman as guest guitarist. awesome stuff
They now have a new vocalist and a debut album soon to be released. Check out two of their new song from the album on this link. Worth giving a listen. /watch?v=pRR_1kr_c3k /watch?v=2NKWqeoda-I
@Dysphoreality They seem to have found a way to autotune them without making them sound too artificial. I mean, I remember 'Approaching Infinity'... oO
@SATANECRONOMICUS And while you're at it these are other few bands from india you could give a go. Amogh Symphony, In Exile, Noiseware, Goddess Gagged.
@SATANECRONOMICUS There is many more of such bands from india ....and its waaay better than most of the european and american crap which is bending towards the hate all the time ....:)
I don't know if you guys have heard Periphery or TesseracT, but Cleans DEFINITELY work in this style of music. Love it
I like the cleans. It's a nice contrast. I feel it adds depth.
They're so official that youtube is their official myspace.
One of those songs that I keep listening to again and again!
Awesome song!
hell yeah man. And all of the Indian Bands have a inclination to technical death.
so happy to find a banglore band here
"The Official Myspace" - the best space metal album title I've ever heard
@PSILOCYBETRIBE Our artwork was done by Benjamin Guarino of Thinking Imagery in 2009. The Aristeia cd came out in 2011.
@Wailington Haha, we'll probably put a website together once our album is out. For now it's all about getting the music going!
@MetalForce147 Our drummer's name is Vatsa :) You can search for some of our live videos to see him in action!

@HRNDONE What about the Minotaur? He's cool and he's horned too.
I usually hate clean vocals that sound like this, but this song is fucking awsome.
@ShreddyESP but how is that related to space though? I see space of more of an afterlife kind of setting, but I may just be looking at it differently.
They have a new vocalist now (Sunneith Revankar) and are done with recording their debut album. Shits about to get real. Listen to Trayus by Skyharbor to get an idea of how the vocals would sound

@mysteriousDSF most Indian bands come from Bangalore tho, a lot of IT workers there whose kids get into djent, same as Maryland in the US ... lol ...

@mysteriousDSF I don't think it has anything to do with the IT folks, but Bangalore does have some decent bands! Although in my opinion, the better bands are up North in Delhi/Bombay/Pune!
Looks like album cover of As I Lay Dying :D
@ShreddyESP well, why does everything have to be about space these days for death metal bands? lol
@SATANECRONOMICUS more than you may think, metal scene is huge in India. Sources: I'm Hungarian, lol, not Indian, and even I see it is so through the internet. xD
@natasalucard I have no idea how you were able to see that

@CliffTheAlpha yeah but his comment got 6 thumbs up and neither of yours got any, so he wins.
@natasalucard Everyone thinks mine means hard on or hard one. But it's HoRNeDONE. As in the Great Mighty Horned One (ie Satan)
Cleans sound like Weird Al
