Who else feels like this album did not hit as well as it should have....these songs are perfection❤❤❤
The songs The Script makes often speak the truth about many things in life. How we feel about our "special someone" during a very special night, or even if we're just talking to them about random things. How difficult it is to quantify love, romantic or otherwise. How love takes form in most of the actions we do everyday, in our schools, in our jobs and workplaces, or in our homes. The way we feel some time after losing those who raised us, or after losing the one which made our everyday bright and sunny, even if it really is or isn't. The difficult decisions we go through in a relationship, those which challenge how much we would give up for our significant other. How short and significant our lives are to live under the influence of something we don't truly love. Each word that I've heard from their songs strike something from within that brings out so much emotions, memories and thoughts. And it is not just the lyrics, it seems like every note in their songs screams whatever message they want to convey. Like, every note is placed at the best place where it should be.
It is amazing how a lot of the greatest things in life started out from something most would consider trivial, like a single sentence on a paper. The greatest poets and poems, researchers and discoveries, writers and stories, and, of course, bands, singers and songs came from similar things. However, we mustn't forget that they, too, are human. It is all because they took the chance to offer the world what they have or someone has noticed something special in others that they have become so great. So with this song, The Script teaches us how different the world could have been if someone didn't say yes to a life-changing opportunity. You never know who the next great figure in history is. It could be your father, mother, sister, brother, friend, that guy or girl you sat next to on the bus, or it could even be you. That's why when you see the opportunity to change the world by doing what you love, take it. Thank you, The Script, for without these songs, the world would be very different for the lot of us
