    Canyon DeChelly, and the painted desert the petrified forest, Carlsbad Caverns, dinosaur caverns were all awesome if you get a chance. And of course the grand canyon

      I’m happy you enjoyed it! We didn’t get to Asheville this trip. We are already back in SWFL. I’d probably freeze up there now. 🥶😄

    Skyline caverns, Shenandoah cave system in Virginia I think if you are in that area.

    Why is it formerly Clingmans Dome? Just curious I always remembered as Clingmans Dome? I'm counting on you for the answer. 😂

      😁 The peak was a sacred place to the Cherokee. It was visited by medicine people who prayed and sought guidance there. It is the highest point within the Qualla Boundary. Kuwohi translates to Mulberry Place. This year (2024,) the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Indians requested that the name be officially changed back to Kuwohi.
